Kept (Bitten and Bound Book 3)

Wow, incredible ending
It was a great balance of how the three balance each other and come to accept how each love differently but completely. The plot did not drag and how it ended had kept pace interesting. It was a great series!

Amazing!
I don't often write reviews because I tend to be pessimistic about writing and don't want to be, but I really can't say enough good things about this trilogy. I was very pleasantly surprised. The writing is excellent, the world building blew me away and the plot had me staying up way to late after putting the baby down to keep reading it lol definitely going to be looking for more from this author!!

Great ending to the trilogy
I couldn't put it down, I was thinking it wouldn't live up to the first two but I was wrong! I miss the characters already...

excellent finish
This was a great conclusion to the series. I was worried for dues ex machina powers but thankfully that didn’t happen. I really liked the ending.❤️

fabulous read
It was amazing from start to finish- from the cliffhanger at the end of the second book to the resolution ( finally) at the end of this one. Amy Pennza wove an amazing world and characters that leaped off the page. Perfect balance of action, intrigue and steam. Whoo boy the steam was great 😊

HOLY GRAIL STATUS...READ THIS SERIES NOW!
This whole series deserves no less than 5 stars from me, no question. Talk about an intense, yet beautiful ending!!! This third and final installment of the Bitten & Bound trilogy was so so good!!! She did NOT disappoint with this one. I thought this was wrapped up so incredibly well, even though my heart did NOT escape unscathed! We start with the immediate aftermath of Given's actions at the end of book 2. Given is still trying to wrangle with her farseeing powers; Laurent is finally seeing Given as the wife, lover, and queen that she could and should be; and Varick and Laurent are building on the now freely flowing emotional connection between them that they've always truly wanted. But there's issues brewing, both across the Rift and within Nor Doru that threaten the trio's newfound bond of strength. They're immediately confronted with the problems to the South across the Rift, and have to face those head on, with the terror eventually following them back home to Nor Doru. All the while, Given is still plagued by the unknown effects of Midian in her mind and how he will manifest. The issues at home, however, are a little harder to uncover, but soon emerge. Laurent and Varick (and ultimately Given too, but more indirectly), are confronted with the festering bigotry of a small pocket of people who have stopped ignoring the obvious relationship between the king and his general. Laurent (and by default Varick) has to decide if he's ready to push forward and sacrifice it all and be an agent of change and progress for his kingdom, his people, and his loves. All of this culminates in such a heartbreaking, yet also incredible and beautiful ending for our 3 main babes. We may or may not lose loved ones, but I think we gain new ones too *wink*. Laurent definitely has his redemption arc in this book and I was glad for it. The way he had been throughout much of the first 2/3 of the trilogy had left me skeptical of his range of emotion and capacity for true and deep love. But I think the new version of his relationship with Varick has finally flipped the switch for him. He is finally "growing up" almost, and seeing Varick and Given for the partners and lovers that they truly are and could be to him, especially where Given is concerned. Varick has already gotten there with her, as we know, after the events of book 2. Given and him are solid as a rock and have each other's backs. Laurent is finally catching up and bringing Given in and it was really such a joy to see everything falling into place with them. The events between them towards the end when the three of them truly become *one* were *chef's kiss* BEAUTIFUL and had me IN TEARS!!!! I was so proud of Laurent and so happy for my 3 babes. Given also continues to grow and mature, which was great to see. She is able to grow in her role more as Queen, working alongside Laurent and Varick to strategize, play politics, and use her Sithistran upbringing to Nor Doru's advantage. But her elven magic is also still developing, at some point much to Laurent and Varick's dismay. I love that Laurent even helps play a role in helping to develop her power (not farseeing, but something new *wink*). It really shows how much stronger they have become together. And of course this review would not be complete if we didn't talk about all the PARTY TIME SPICE in this book?!?! *breaks my face from smiling so hard; eyes rolling back in my head and passing out from all the HOTNESS happening on-page* The Paris action is STRONG in this one y'all! And I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT!!!! So well done. The dirty talk...GAHHH *proceeds to pass out all over again from the memory* Again, some of the hottest stuff I have ever read in my life. LOVED x infinity! This series was my intro into polyam spice and I am never looking back! The very end had me in tears for multiple reasons!!! OMG!!! Tears of sadness and joy and so much LOVE...MY GOODNESS!!!! Then the THREE epilogues (yes 3, because all of our babes deserve to have final words, yes they do!) were a perfect wrap up to everything and I absolutely adored Given's epilogue, truly a fabulous send-off for the reader. This series was just so blasted good on multiple fronts: the overall story/plot, the magic and lore, the character development, the SPICE, the representation and messaging...all of it was just perfection in my opinion. The fact that this story had THAT much spice along with THAT much plot?? Holy Grail status...PLEASE READ THIS SERIES!

What a great series!
This book leads off where book two ended. Given, Varick, and Laurent have to work together to save the world and navigate their relationship. The MMF dynamic was spicy throughout. At times I felt Given was an after thought to them both during those scenes and why I did 4 star. I enjoyed the world building from this series. I wish Rhys was still around for a spin off.
