Q: Is this the old formula?

I am old, not sure about the color.

Q: i am looking specificaly for the old formula clairol nice n easy 8a/106. the photo shows this. , can i be assured of getting the old formula

Absolutely not. When I got it I received the new formula 8a. Clairol discontinued 8a/106. I ad to send it back to the company that sold it through Amazon for a full refund. I told them that they had the wrong product advertised on Amazon. Apparently they haven't changed the ad.
