I love this paper. The texture does not work for every technique, so it won't always be the first paper I grab. However, for applications where you want a quality paper with elegant texture, this one is great. Heavy enough for a card base, but still useful as a layer. I only wish that it came in letter sized packs.My photo is not great so you have to zoom in to see the texture. Also, the card in the photo has a large intricate pop-up mechanism in it, so it doesn't lay flat. Without that mechanism the paper folds beautifully and holds a nice crisp fold.
