Does the uv lamp works better than LED?

Personally I like the LED better, it’s quicker than the regular UV. I have both, but now only use the LED.

how long will this lovely color last?

Mine last about 3 weeks, but I have to give them a second top coat after 1.5-2 weeks.  I have done them and gone full on tent camping and they looked perfect afterward. So that says a lot! The only way to really get long wear is to do far more than 2 coats. The directions read that 2 coats are minimum but 3 is recommended. I find that to get them to last I really need 4 coats so they are clearly taller than my normal nail and look fake. But as I am a school librarian and constantly banging/chipping my nails, I view this more as "nail armor" (family joke) than beauty. They protect me from ripping my (very weak) nails to shreds in daily life.

Does the 6 nail color pack include base and top coats?

I don't know! I got from this brand the base and top coat pack for around 8$ here in amazon and I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised! The base and top coat is a little more liquid than other brands, but the results are long lasting, I do double expose to curing light, with time the top coat got more thick, but still does great job with no need to wipe after curing.

How can I tell what color is in the jar? The numbers on them are different than the color chart posted in the listing.

It sounds like you might have gotten the wrong kit. I would exchange it. All of my numbers in my kit match the color chart. The colors are definitely not as close of a match as I would have preferred since I was looking for a specific color but overall they are nice and easy to use for a first time user.
