STMNT Grooming Goods Curl Cream | Enhances Curls | Texture Without Crispiness

Fine short-medium length Asian hair here. Recently got a perm and wanted a one product solution to style my hair for work and daily needs. Mousse gel mousse combo still works best for ultimate curls in the last photo. Tried a bunch of commercial curl creams, but realized market products are made for women. The creams were too creamy if that makes sense? This STMNT curl cream has some grit to it which makes it feel like a curl cream/pomade hybrid, it’s thicker but still creamy and not hard, but you can definitely feel the grip. This works fantastic as a one product styler and gives me what I want, good hold without being crunchy or stiff but still touchable without frizzing while retaining movement. The fragrance is nice too, not too musky but not feminine, a soft sophiscated scent for men. Less product works better for me, maybe a dime size amount into damp hair. I'd been looking for a product to make my naturally light blonde hair look less like a bale of hay after stepping outside into the wind, and get rid of the frizz. I've got a light, natural wave to my hair and have struggled to define those curls without coating my scalp in hairspray. Not only does this curl cream smell great (coconut-ish, but not overpowering, which is great for my sensitive sense of smell that can prompt headaches), but it defines my curls without making my hair stiff and crunchy. I apply a dollop to my hair when it's still wet after showering, scrunching it in, and let it air dry. Then I go in with a light hold pomade to give my hair some more hold without making it crunchy or stiff. I've been extremely happy with how this product has worked with my hair. I was nervous at first to purchase -- since the price wasn't exactly super cheap -- but it's paid off and I will absolutely be buying again.

STMNT Grooming Goods Curl Cream has become my new go-to for taming my curls! First off, the scent is incredible. It's seriously luxurious and lingers subtly throughout the day. This cream delivers on its promise of enhancing curls without that crunchy feeling. My hair is left soft, supple, and with a beautiful definition. It even worked wonders on my 3-year-old daughter's curls, making her look even more adorable! However, there are a couple of minor drawbacks. The cream can be a bit messy to apply and doesn't spread as easily as I'd like. This sometimes leads to uneven application and a few thicker, crispier spots. I'm hoping it's just user error, and I'll get the hang of it with more practice. Overall: Despite the slight messiness, I absolutely love this curl cream. The amazing scent, the soft, defined curls, and the fact that it works for both me and my daughter make it a winner in my book. I highly recommend giving it a try, especially if you're looking for a product that enhances your natural curls without any stiffness.

My 8 year old son has a perm & this product has been the best at maintaining moisture in the curls throughout the day. I feel like his curls hold up better between perms using this than the prior product we were using. I prefer his perm to have a more wet & styled look than dry & fluffy.

It might be a good product, but it smells disgusting and the sent was overpowering. I couldn’t stop smelling it after I put it on… nasty honestly.
