Does NOT work with Turbo Mesh
In the questions, the seller states specifically that this will work with the Alesis Turbo Mesh kit. So far it does not. We have tried two different adapters (balanced and unbalanced) to plug it in to the auxiliary input. And, of course, we first plugged it into the bass drum input. Nothing works. So far this was a waste of money. I'm waiting on a call back from Alesis to see if there's anything else we should try, if not, it's going back.

Doesn't work with Turbo mesh
Just got off the phone with Alesis. They say this pedal and pad is NOT, repeat NOT, compatible with the Nitro Turbo Mesh kit, despite the claims on this page. I was told that only the kick pedal that came with the set will work with it. You cannot upgrade to a chain pedal and pad, even though they are both Alesis products. Weird and disappointing, to say the least.

Not trusting its new
Product came wrapped in plastic not original box but a food box. Whats up with that. They said it was new. If its new wheres the original box.

This combo saved a lot of money and works great with the Alesis SampleRack - no surprise, as this kick drum is called out in the manual!
