A useful tool when used properly.
These are useful for sending a signal to one of two RJ45 devices but it should be noted immediately that these are NOT "splitters" as you can only utilize one of the dual outputs at a time. It will not split a single signal equally under use with two devices. That said, they do accomplish the mission they are tasked with by giving more functionality to a single cable when it's called for. I subtracted one star not because of anything wrong but because they aren't shielded which would make them perfect for my needs. They should perform fine for most people's applications with no issues.

Does not work with a network switch
This product does not work with a network switch, it creates a feedback loop and will shut down your switch. I searched long and hard to try to figure out if I could use this or not but didn't find anything about it before purchasing it for myself. The solution is to get a smaller switch (I got a 5 port one) to put in your new location and your one ethernet cable runs into it and then splits with the added switch.

Bad quality.
First of all I received one piece instead of pair. The quality of the product is very bad. Internet was not connected. I tried all changing different cables. Finally after wasting of literally two hours I noticed the pins inside was not fitted properly. So I just returning this.

Only One Port Works, I am finding it useful.
This is a very sturdy product & liked it very much. It fulfills my requirement & hence found it very useful as expected.Due to Covid situation & hence WFH I have to continuously use my WIFI Router, I have two Wifi routers & now with this adapter ( cannot call it a splitter as it does not split to both ports simultaneously ) I can switch to any router by just powering on one router & powering off the other router. I am using two such adapters one for input to the router & another for output to PC. Very useful & solid strong product..
