A friend visited and needed to use a metal file, and was horrified at my set's poor quality, so I splashed out on these Bahco's. SO MUCH BETTER than my previous set. Been very pleased with the usage so far. Carry case is a bit mickey mouse, but it keeps them clean. Overall, not cheap but worth the money so far,.

...if you're working on vehicles. Don't seem to be the usual high quality of Bahco somehow but they're sharp and well engineered.

These files chew through metal quite well and don't seem to be slowing down or going blunt. But I haven't used them for a long time yet. Ask me again in another 10years! The plastic pouch will also be ruined quite easily if you aren't careful putting them away.

Excellent product

The handle fits well in the hand, an overall very ergonomic setup.The assortment of files that you get cover all the bases for general metalworking in engineering applications. The cut of the files is also good, removing a decent amount of material per pass.However, I found that on the set that I have received that the shank of the file is already starting to come loose in the handle. The files have only been used a handful of times - namely to file flats on some tie bars and remove a lip in a steel guide in a hard to reach spot on a machine.For those looking to buy these for use in a professional, day to day, setting I would recommend looking for something more robust.You may pay more for a different brand, but I feel like longevity from a different set would offset the extra price you pay.
