You know Whenever I first came across this product, I didn't know what to expect. I honestly thought this was a hyped-up product. However, upon ordering and receiving it, I was completely wrong about that. I think this 3D make-up practice set is just amazing. You get the eyes to practice on, and the best part is that the eyes are open, so you can definitely practice gluing lashes on. Now I will say the texture of the mannequin eyelids is pretty weird; it's kind of hard to describe. It's a sort of rubbery, plastic, chalky texture. Applying makeup to this 3D eyelid mannequin was pretty cool. I haven't practiced applying makeup consistently in a while, but this 3D mannequin will definitely change that. Whenever I used to practice putting on makeup, I would do the make-up more often on myself, and sometimes I tend to get pretty lazy at taking the make-up off. Well, with this eyelid mannequin, there's no need to rush because it can easily come off. A simple makeup remover wipe works just fine, as does Lukewarm water and a mild soap, most likely an unscented soap, which I personally would recommend. I love the goodies that come with this 3D eyelid mannequin; the brushes work pretty well, and I must say it's pretty sturdy; only a few strands of the make-up brush Brisselels came out. These mannequin eyelids come in various skin tones, and I absolutely think this would make a great gift for make-up artists, theater arts majors who are specifically majoring in make-up, or simply for people who enjoy being creative with make-up. For those who celebrate Halloween, Cinco de Mayo, etc. Why not practice the eye makeup on this eyelid 3D mannequin? I honestly feel you have more to gain than to lose with this set. The only thing it's missing is make-up, but seriously, that's not a big deal if you already own a great deal of make-up.I made sure to take a picture of the make-up being removed from one side of the face. I just used one make-up wipe, and judging by the results as seen in the picture above, it's safe to say it works wonders. Now I've yet to glue lashes on this mannequin, but based on the results I've had with applying and taking the make-up off, I  feel like that will be easy to apply and remove. I definitely recommend buying this for anyone who enjoys being creative with makeup to perfect their skills or, in my case, to get back to doing makeup better. Now this 3D half-face mannequin is very affordable. You will have the option of buying either this version or a full-face 3D mannequin, which is also fairly priced. Amazon folks, this is definitely 5 stars for me, but don't just take my word for it now; get one for yourself. Hopefully, this helps Amazon folks!

This Makeup Practice Face Board has been fun to work with when it comes to learning how to blend. The only downside for me is that my eyeshadows are not pigmented enough. I have to put a lot of it on the practice face, and even then I don't feel like I'm blending the eyeshadow right because it's not a smooth overall process.

I thought the appearance was strange as well as the color used for the complexion. The "skin" texture is a little sticky but maybe that's for a reason. The product appears to be made out of a sturdy hard plastic. It is definitely made to last. The kit comes with makeup brushes that I used to apply shadow to the face board. The shadow goes on very well and immediately gave me an idea of what it would look like on someone. What I didn't like was removing the makeup. I tried a dry paper towel first, then a wet paper towel. The only thing that seemed to work was a baby wipe. I didn't have a eye makeup remover Handy in order to test it. Overall, a nice product for a novice or experienced makeup professional.

I've been looking for a darker skin face board in a believable undertone for the longest time before finding this one! I'm so happy to have it now, because I have a lot of makeup products that I need to swatch and can't always do that on my own skin due to sensitivities. I also film them, so I want my viewers to see a model that in my opinion, is closer to my complexion than the standard offerings for this kind of product. I like that the brow area is bald as well as the lash area, because I do need to practice applying those kinds of products (they're my weakest makeup skills), plus this one came with some brushes I believe. The skin-like texture is pretty realistic. It's also very easy to clean- I just use oil and baby shampoo. I would say give this item a chance, even if you find face boards a little,, eccentric, they can be a great tool to have in your makeup collection even if you're not a professional.

This is Perfect for any teen/young adult wanting to learn how to do makeup.I got this for my 16 yo, we in my family do not really know how to do stuff like this but my eldest Neice went to school to learn cthis type of stuff as did my older sister (who wasn't raised with us).Now, my daughter is of the age where teens want to learn this type of stuff butI want her to learn correctly and want her to actually be able to put it on correctly and properly without looking like a clown.I ordered this, so she (and I) can practice. And, her cousins may also want to learn also.. she has 3 female cousins who are in the same age range who also need to learn how to do makeup also.I love the quality of the face/skin.I am a little leary about putting the included makeup on Human skin (have heard horror stories of adverse reactions and all, I do not trust it on human skin though). But, it works great for the practice face! 😀I love the fact it has a stand and their is makeup, makeup brush, makeup sponge... etc is all included 💖!***** This is perfect 🥰 for a starter kit, for anyone wanting to learn how to do make up.. etc. ************* I would Recommend it to any student or anyone one who is learning on their own. ********
