AWESOME FUN - Needs Better Instructions
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Let me start out by saying my 9-year-old boy loves this. It accelerates well, drives great, seems very safe and honestly is a blast. I wish I could fit in it so I could drive it around. Also, it shipped quickly. The manual says the Go-Kart is built for boys 13 and over. I know my boy is large but at 9, it is a tight fit. Anyone over 14 will have knees sticking up. Still it is a blast to drive.I noticed one reviewer say the rear wheels were wearing out quickly. Based on the design and the type of wheels, I would say this Go-Kart is for "off-road" use. My boy drives the Go-Kart around the backyard and has a blast. The suspension is pretty good, but it was still a rough ride, HE LOVED IT. I'm attaching a video of him driving on the street. As for driving the kart, battery life is excellent, well over two hours of full speed driving on a charge. It seems to be fully charged in about 4 or 5 hours. There is a battery gauge so you can see how much "juice" you have left. It seems to go as fast as a lawnmower engine-powered go-kart from my youth with MUCH less noise. Like most electric vehicles it accelerates FAST. So why only 4 stars? Read on...The Go-Kart comes in one single box, tied to a pallet, delivered by a truck mostly assembled. Once you remove the box, there is a steel frame that supports the box you will need to remove. Alen wrench nuts and bolts hold the frame in place. To get the Go-Kart to fit in the box, the wheels have been removed and the steering wheel mount was unbolted. Instructions about how to put these back are just some photographs are VAGUE. For the front wheels it is very easy, Simply remove the bolts, washer on the inside and out, place the "hubcap" retainer on the shaft with the lip facing and replace the bolt. Get the bolt just tight enough to hold the wheel without it wobbling on the shaft. The rear wheels are a different story. There are some shaft sleeves tie wrapped to the rear of the rear of the kart. Remove these, place them over the axle shafts, but wait they are different lengths. The shorter one goes on the left as facing the kart from the rear. The sleeves are larger than the shafts but you will find a couple of round rubber o rings that will hold the sleeves in place. Put the sleeves on, then the wheel, then the washer, the "hubcap" retainer, this time the lip must face out.As for the steering wheel, it can be positioned high or low, I mounted the retainer below the shaft in the "high" position. The instructions for the "roll bar" are pretty good. Now it gets interesting. The instructions for charging the Go-Kart are really BAD. In one place it says the switch must be off, in another, it says it must be on. Well, there are TWO switches. There is something called an "air-switch" on the rear side of the Go-Kart behind the seat. It looks like a gray breaker. That should be ON. The switch that should be off is the KEY, keep that off. Also not very clear in the instructions are the indicator lights for the charger. When working the charger power will be GREEN and the charging light will be RED. The charger is sensitive to heat. The garage is hot, so every time I plugged in the charger the two lights just blinked and there was this pitiful click as the charger tried to come on. After keeping the charger inside in the cool house for a while it would start up with both lights green, then I plugged it into the cart and the charging light would come on. Another note, the red light basically stays on even after it is charged.

Great little go kart
The battery boxes were damaged in shipment. The seller promptly sent me replacements. My four year old loves his go kart. The charge lasts longer than his desire to drive at any one time (2+ hours). He will drive this kart for a long time given that it has two more speeds and he currently stretches to reach the pedals. I would recommend this kart without hesitation.

Sturdy, quick and easy to put together
These go karts are so much fun, built really well and are pretty easy to put together. They definitely hold an average sized adult no problem. Someone very tall might have an issue folding themselves into it, but your knees just kind of stick out, so it works. We had an issue with the shipping company dropping one of them en route, but the seller was super quick and courteous about replacing the broken parts. These are totally worth the money, and last a long time on one charge.

ABSOLUTE JUNK
Do not buy this product, it's junk, worse than junk, not even good enough to be a boat anchor. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

I suppose it could have happened to any one.
I was finally able to take my son out for a proper ride on this go cart. Unfortunately the chain snapped. We were lucky that the machine was rendered disabled near a parking lot. My wife had to drive the mini van to the other side of the park so that i could load the cart.
