HCS Extra Large Blood Pressure Cuff, Manual Blood Pressure Cuff Arm, XL BP

It works great for infrequent use. So far it has maintained integrity and seems to offer an accurate blood pressure result. The dial to release the air is real metal and sturdy. The little pouch it comes with is nice and compact but still offers enough room to be packed again and again. The dial is clear and with a little practice makes reading easy when you get the amount of air to release at just the right rate. I went for the bigger cuff because my hubby has muscly arms and it fits him nicely, but also fits a more average arm. I could even get a reading on my noodly teenager's arm. Good buy for the price.

Fits well and takes BP accurately. People must know that the right size of cuff makes a difference in your BP readings. My arms a little bigger and my old normal size cuff was giving me numbers all over the place. Discussed with family physician and ordered this new cuff and my b'p is reading more accurate now along with Dr readings. I've never had luck with automatic BP cuffs, the old fashion way is much better and more accurate. You do have to have another person to assist with getting the cuff on though.

Suggested for purchase by my family doctor and later, after delivery, my Dr. compared this device's pressure readings to his device. It compared to his satisfaction.

Overall Good Cuff, a couple things: 1. Remember: Righty Tighty, Lefty Loosey. At first The valve on the pump “failed to seal properly”, the cuff leaked, and never completely filled with air. However upon further examination, my significant other was turning it the wrong way 2. I tried to purchase SIZE XL, as the PICTURE SHOWED SIZE XL. However, the purchase agreement was for SIZE LARGE. I purchased hoping the Size would be XL, but in fact LARGE was delivered.

I have bought this product 4 times and the hose from 2 of them broke off the bladder. Not safe for Medical use. I was taking blood pressures of Pts How embarrassing to know a product made for monitoring for a critical disease as high blood was junk Shame on this company The first one it happened to I chalked it up to it happens but when I replaced it with more and it happened again Junk. Don't buy these. This is coming from a nurse of 37 years
