Excellent build quality, beautiful HD display, rugged professional case Measured torque values are within 2% of mechanical torque wrenches I have tested it against; however, its measured torque values are within about 1% of two digital torque wrenches from SnapOn and Dewalt. I made a big error by returning the adapter the first time I bought it; and, I owe the company an apology. I returned it because the manual is small and in tiny print, poorly written, stuffed in the case, and a magnifying glass is needed for me to read it. This user manual should be published online in PDF format, rewritten with details and examples of usage and included in a readable size with the device. The company could also post a PROFESSIONAL YouTube video covering, in detail, every aspect of its functions and use. The day I returned it I reordered it. My only complaint was the quality of the user manual. It’s a wonderful adapter turning any 1/2” drive ratchet into a precise torque wench. This ANPUDS digital torque adapter works exactly as described. The display is clear and easy to read, and switching between ft-lb and Nm is quick. I tested it against a calibrated torque wrench and the readings were very consistent, which gives confidence in the ±1% accuracy claim. It fits securely on my 1/2" drive ratchets and breaker bars, and the audible beep and LED alert make it easy to hit the correct torque without over-tightening. The compact size is great when you don’t want to carry a full torque wrench. Very handy tool for automotive and mechanical work. Great value for the price.

I was clenching a body part quite tightly while using this to repeatedly apply 45 ft-lbs of torque, but it didn't slip off or break. I would still rather use an actual torque wrench, but this is useful for sanity checking the calibration of your other tools.

This works perfectly to set the exact torque you are looking for. Easy to use and set up----plus the added benefit of having the various adapter supplied so it can be used with several ratchet drives. The audible indicator is a nice feature as well for those times when you have limited line of sight into your work. All in all, this is a valuable tool to add to your toolbox----and reasonably priced too!

I bought and used this device to install a trailer hitch on my vehicle. I had installed a trailer hitch before on another vehicle using a click style torque wrench, and it was very difficult. With the click style torque wrench, it was physically difficult to pull hard enough to get to 87 ft-lbs. Also, I don't use a torque wrench very often, and I felt like I was pulling hard enough that it should have clicked. I was worried that I would break the bolt if the wrench didn't work or was set incorrectly. For this install, I decided to try this device to make it easier, and I'm happy to report this device solved both of the issues I had with the click style torque wrench. I attached the device to a breaker bar, and it was so much easier with the additional leverage. Also, the display continuously showed exactly how much torque I was applying at any given time. So, it was easier and I never thought there was a chance I could be over-torquing it. Bye bye click style torque wrench, I will be using this device and a breaker bar from now on!

It actually works well ... but I have the same problem other had as well, no sound at all. The adaptor works well and I tried to like it, but sometimes I can't see the lights/display so the 'beep' is very important to me ... and it is not there. Returned. EDIT: I changed my review from 2 star to 5 star ... because, even the initial part did not 'beep' (but I really liked it) the seller reached out to me and issued me a replacement that works absolutely fantastic and I am very happy with it now. I had previously edited my review but for some reason it did not post. I hope this time it works, because I truly find this to be a very reasonably priced and well working tool.

Like numerous other reviews mine stopped giving an audible beep after the first use. One reviewer mentioned pressing the PT/M buttons at the same time to restore the audible alert. I did this with the device powered on and the audible beep returned. I have no idea why it stopped beeping, the torque wrench is 4 months old has been used once, is stored in its case and inside a tool chest. The only thing I can think of is maybe when stored in its plastic case the fit is tight and buttons are being pressed causing these devices to do this. For this reason I gave it 3-stars, I wish 3.5 was available. Its an easy fix but a hassle. Other than the glitch with the audible alert I really like this device. There is a little bit of a learning curve to use it as far as setting the torque value and not having the feel of a click like a manual wrench which is why the audible tone is so important as it is an alert to when you are nearing your set value.
