Rolls PM351 Personal Monitor Station for Musicians and Accessory Bundle w/Fibertique Cloth

I am a cellist for our church worship team, among other venues. I purchased the rolls to give myself volume control while our wireless system is being updated to support the new in ear monitor system. This box has everything I need in features and it was nice to just reach behind me and fiddle the volume knob (the unit is mounted to my chair) whenever I needed to adjust either my volume or the monitor mix. But after a few months, it is only delivering feed to my left ear. After using several entry level iem's, I have been moderately content with the mee 6 pro's. I tested these ears on other devices to confirm that it was the rolls unit and not the ears. This unit also tends to give the cello a harsh electric sound. If I wanted to sound like an electric guitar, I'd go dig mine out of the closet. I tried the iem's without the rolls unit to make sure it was the rolls and not cheap ears and it sounds much warmer and acoustic without the rolls. This is the second unit I owned, I had to return the first after two weeks because I could not get the obnoxiously loud buzzing from the unit to go away. I also have a bit of trouble plugging the power supply into the unit, it seems that the receiver is not mounted well inside the box and wants to flop around inside the box when I try to connect it to the cord. After two failures with this box, I'm simply up a creek without a paddle, there is no $ left to get another unit. Next time I will purchase from a reputable company with that awesome two year warranty.
