Very unsatisfactory
Tried with & without water & it always made this weird egg sack like thing that never produced anything. Tried several different times in different environments. I have extra that seeds that will probably end up in the trash

temp.matters
these had a 100% germination rate, but sprout super slow at 70f. at 80f they explode.

8 days and in love
Edit: my tank turned extremely slimy and started to smell really bad and cloudy. I have to completely start my tank over with new soil and new plants. Sucks because it looked so pretty but ruined my tank and live plants…I was super skeptical about buying this bc I’ve heard lots of mixed reviews about buying carpet seeds but gave it a shot and it’s so pretty. -I bought aquatic soil and sprinkled the seeds on top and misted. -I misted the seeds once before work and once before bed keeping it covered with Saran Wrap. -I only kept a light on overnight while I slept(Today is day 8 and the last pic is the current result, going to add water up to the growth today and probably fill up the tank full with water and filter on week 2)(day 3 I saw tiny sprouts) I also recommend buying C02 booster + Fertilizer to keep your plants healthily when your tank is completely set up!!

Mini leaf do work
The media could not be loaded. Heat and cover is necessary if you want success and get through the clear goo stage. I used grow lights and a thermostat at 84 with plastic bags over the top and a comforter over the whole set up. 24 hrs of light till you see a good number of sprouts and then start your 8hrs darkness to see the sprouts grow! The clear goo is nutrition for the germination process so I lightly mixed it into the substrate to cover more area on day 3. After adding water and cycling for 1week add a goldfish or shrimp to clean up any left over goo

Didn't work for me not sure why?
I tried every method I know and then some. Looked on YouTube as well to get them to grow only was able to get them molding. I chose to wait to leave a review to give it a proper chance but personally for me it did not work. Also it took the shape of what seemed to be chia seeds and I was confused by that had a mucous like substance around the seed almost as soon as I spayed it, I used 4 types of ways to get it to grow. Substrate soil and a napkin lightly dampped and coverd to get to germinate and nothing, I submerged with and 1in or 2 of water and soild making sure little to no seeds floated and nothing. I used regular dirt and seeds to get them to sprout and nothing as well. Not sure if I got a bad batch or I just couldn't get them properly germinated but this was my experience. Hopefully it works out to whoever buys it next and if it does please let me know what you did.

Don’t work
All the seeds do is release a sticky enzyme and clump up and never produce, I tried both methods of germination and neither yielded even a blade of grass

I keep getting white substance on my plants while I am waiting for the rest to grow.

Growing great!!
The media could not be loaded. They grow great. You have to cover the tank with no water just water the seeds and wait for them to grow. I only put a few down to make sure I was doing it right now I’m doing a whole carpet and it’s coming along nicely.
