After about 2 years the battery case on my original Airpods pro case would no longer hold a charge. Although I felt that I should have gotten > 2 years service on my initial investment from Apple of $200 I was investigating what the root cause was. After investing numerous hours trying to clarify the root cause...Was it the charging socket or the battery and the special tools and tedium in order to fix the case I investigated alternative charging cases. I decided to purchase this one and I have used it for over a month and for $30.00 I can say that the quality appears to be as good if not better than the original Apple case.My Airpods are fully charged and the case even has a little chime when you open the case....It is as good as new!

My only complaint is that sometimes it takes slightly longer for the airpods to connect to bluetooth on my phone but otherwise it chargers really fast and does the job.
