Delicious!
This was delicious. It elevated my cocktails to the next level. It was fresh delivered well and the bottle was clean and unopened. I would highly recommend this for anybody throwing a party where you're making fancy cocktails or for any bars that need to elevate their cocktails.

Amazing for cocktails, and a splash in a glass of champagne is terrific!

Not good for a fermentation
I tried to use this with my ginger bug to flavor my ginger beer. Maybe I did it wrong but the beer with this do not ferment well. They do eventually but take much longer. So there may be something in this that fermentation doesnโt like. Because I bought this specifically for my ginger beer I will not be buying it again.

Delicious!
I had a hibiscus lemonade at a local restaurant that was so refreshing, I had to try and recreate it at home. This nailed it! I've added it to cocktails as well as simple homemade lemonade. Not only does it add wonderful flavor, it also makes the drinks a very pretty shade of pink. I will be ordering it again. A little goes a long way, so it was worth the price.

Good Balance of Hibiscus to Sweet
The hibiscus flavor is excellent in this syrup and works much better in a local restaurant cocktail I copied instead of the original's use of floating dried hibiscus flowers. The ratio of hibiscus to sweetness is positive, so easier to avoid an overly-sweet drink just to get a decent floral flavor.

Tasty
This hibiscus cocktail syrup is really tasty. I like to add it to my tequila mixed in with a lemon/lime soda. I just add a tablespoon of the syrup and stir it in. It adds a sweet taste for me. I didn't detect any sour flavor at all, which is perfect for me. My only complaint was I wish it was a stronger sweet taste. I could get a stronger taste of it if I added more of the syrup, but that just loads up the calories. It's a little on the pricey side, but all of these cocktail additives tend to be expensive. For the flavor this adds to my drinks, I think it's worth it.

Lovely flavor and not too sweet
Too many popular brands of syrups are SO sweet that they actually mask the flavor of fruits and herbs. This Hibiscus syrup tastes fresh and complex. I honestly was looking for a way to replicate the Starbucks Very Berry powdered Refreshers that I mixed with carbonated water, They were discontinued. I'm getting closer. PLUS! On the Shaker and Spoon website they sell a simple syrup with caffiene so I can add some at my 3:00 slump time in the afternoon. They have a HUGE variety of syrups in wild and wonderful flavors. They specialize in cocktails. Ha! This is sounding like an ad for them. I promise I have no connection to the company.
