Very difficulty to assemble

There a few things that a good about the desk.It was relatively easy to put together, even though there was an error in the instructions. Took me a few hours with my children 'helping'.The size of the main desk is good and the chair has some growing room for my almost 7 year old.The chair is nice and sturdy after being made.I also liked the extra bag of 'spare' screws etc so you weren't wondering where you'd miss one but equally if you lost one you'd have another.However there are a few things to note about this desk that I wish I'd have known before buying.It's a bit rough around the edges, the cut edges arent that smart and makes it look quite cheap.The drawer designs are the most frustrating part of this. It had such a great potential to be useful storage BUT they haven't maximise the depth of the desk with the drawers. They are only about 2/3rds the depth, so you loose so much storage.The thin drawer is a cm short to be able to store A4 sheets portrait way, which is so annoying! Just a few more cm and you'd be able to have two piles of papers stacked in the drawer, but no!The drawer runners themselves arent great, or at least the screws to fix them. They don't sit flush into the wood so the runner catches on each screw. I've had to remove some of them as I just can't pull the drawer in and out without force.Overall its OK and my son is happy with his new desk. I'm a little disappointed with the finish and the storage.
