Great product!
These work! My husband gashed his arm and didn’t want to go to hospital, I don’t recommend not going to get stitches, but my husband had a tetnus shot a year ago, otherwise I would of cried until he went to hospital . I placed 2 of these in the wound along with antibiotic ointment and next day replaced one of the zip stitches and on 3 rd day removed them and he has healed just fine.

Incredibly Useful
I love this product. I had a calcium deposit removed from my leg. They put in 6 stitches. They were suppose to stay in for 14 days. On day 7th day I ended up in the ER with a bad infection. So the ER Doctor decided to remove them, give me some antibiotics and a bandaid and send me on my way. Well the next day the wound had started to split open again. I didn’t want it to split completely open so I grab this kit and used the wound closure with the zip ties. I cleaned it the antiseptic wipes and then cleaned the skin with the alcohol wipes. Then put the closure on it, pulled the zip ties and it closed right up. I was able to see my regular Dr the next day and he told me I did the smart thing by using it. He was absolutely amazed by it. He also said the ER Dr should not have removed the stitches this soon. So I’ve showered with it and been keeping it covered and it has not come off at all. I’m really happy with how well it worked and will be buying more to keep around.

Large wound closure strips. Quality Scissors.
An all in one kit with great quality. The wound closure strips are large. You only get the one size but this is definitely meant to treat a LARGE wound. You get everything you should need and even the scissors are of decent quality. The gauze roll isnt the standard junk you find in an 1000 pc set. Its all great and it all serves a purpose.

Could use a small upgrade.
As a wound closure kit, it is pretty comprehensive when compared to others on the market. BZK and alcohol wipes a plenty, gloves, shears, wound closures, pads, and one thing you usually won't find; island style wound covers. There's no sense in closing a wound if you can't keep it clean, right? My one gripe with this kit is the wound pads. They really cheap out and give you woven pads, instead of non-woven. Not a big deal, right? Personally, if I'm covering a wound, I want something that isn't going to stick to it and be a pain to change out if need be. Yes, I realize these kits are a temporary solution and if your wound is bad enough to need one of these kits, you should really have it checked by a doctor at some point. That said, though, at this price point, how about we provide better quality gear? Other than that gripe, I do like these kits. The ziploc style storage bag is nice and heavy, and everything is neatly packaged with a laminated "guide". I think this is a nice addition to a backpack, or even a daily carry. I'll be keeping one in my vehicle as I work around sharp tools and it will be nice knowing this is on hand, just in case.
