Jasmine Silk 100% 19 Momme Mulberry Charmeuse Silk Pillowcase for Hair and Skin 50 cm x 75 cm Envelope Closure - RRP £35 (Pink)

A soft, smooth, silky pillowcase which almost feels like youre sleeping on a cloud. Perfect fit for my pillow too! This 100% mulberry silk pillowcase comes in a little plastic pouch which can be later used to store the pillowcase if need be. It is secured onto a pillow with an overflap rather than a zip which is ideal as it won't catch onto any loose threads. Should be washed on 30 degrees (or cold water), dries very quickly and can be ironed on very low heat. I bought a grey one, and could not be more satisfied with the product. It seems pricey but its relatively affordable than other silk pillowcases on the market. You really do notice a good difference that it makes to your hair. Ive seen little or no hair fallout when sleeping on a silk pillowcase in comparison to sleeping on a cotton pillowcase. It can be a little slippery to sleep on, so i have it resting on another pillow with a cotton pillowcase to stop it escaping away. Gutted it doesnt come as a pair in the pack, but i would definitely purchase another one.

Just come to buy a new one as this one has started to get thin and fragile - according to Amazon I purchased this in 2020 so it's been washed in the washing machine and dried (with my hairdryer so no creases) once a week for nearly six years - exceptional value and a beautiful pillowcase. Recommend 10/10

I like this as it is functional and washable. It is super slippery on other pillows but that's probably supposed to be considering the material.

These pillow cases are beautiful, soft, comfortable and lovely colours. I have bought several. Well worth the price. Delivered same day too - amazing!

I'm so glad I bought this pillowcase. It's a dream to sleep on. My skin gets intermittently sensitive and cotton can make it itchy and dried out. The silk pillowcase solves that completely. It's very soft and silky and washes well. I've only handwashed it in sensitive washing liquid,no fabric conditioner, then dried it on the line. It hasn't needed ironing. I was concerned that washing it would make it less soft, but this hasn't been the case. It is quite a bit larger than the average pillow case, but this hasn't been a problem. I bought it because I had read that black pillowcases help you to sleep as it creates a darker environment, and that silk didnt dry out skin like cotton and polyester, and didnt cause hair to tangle. I don't know about the former, as I also wear a silk eyemask, (which I can highly recommend), but I think it is better for hair and skin. I want to get silk sheets now, it feels so lovley to sleep on!

Very please, I originally bought 2 pillow cases several months ago from Jasmine silks online store and have been made up with them. I have since contemplated buying another 2 but struggled with justifying another £50. After finding they sold Jasmine silk cases on Amazon cheaper I really wanted to get them but was sceptical of it being genuine silk. Well I can confirm its genuine! After a quick Google for how to test silk I could that burning a small amount will tell you if its real or synthetic. Real doesn't have a visible flame, smells like burnt hair and once the flame is removed the fire should go out, resulting in a fragile black ash. Synthetic has a visible flame, continues to burn after the flame is removed, smells like plastic and doesn't produce any ash. The new case does feel ever so thinner and slightly less smooth in comparison but still very smooth and great quality. Couldn't behappier with the purchase.

December update: used this pretty much constantly and it has lasted well and still looks good. I tend to hand wash but have used machine gentle cycle a couple times. It does definitely stop bed face, you forget how much it makes a difference until you sleep with a normal pillow again. Original August post: These are a good size and stretch out well in the pillow to avoid the need to iron. It is cool and lovely to put your head on at night and I’ve slept well with it. My face is actually less creased in the morning... I had forgotten about this until I realised when looking in the mirror this morning!! I forgot that I used to have bed face for 20 mins, it has completely gone. It works!!

I have both Satin and now Silk pillow cases and honestly cannot tell the difference. Both are super soft and smooth, great to the touch and look identical. The only thing this one (silk) is priced 3x times more. Not sure if its worth the money, however still a great product if you are looking for something that is 100% silk and still affordable. Also comes in a nice package.

Seda 100% muy suave y agradable. Un poco ancha para mis almohadas que son de 45 x 75 pero fácil de arreglar con una simple costura. Me han gustado tanto que he comprado para tener de quita y pon

Excelente relación calidad - precio. La he lavado muchas veces y sigue siendo suave y no ha perdido la forma.
