I ordered a metal head board and bed frame from Amazon. The screws provided with the head board were too short for attaching to the frame. These longer screws worked beautifully and were an inexpensive solution.

I got these to go withPGMJ 80 Pieces 1/4"-20 Wood Inserts Bolt Furniture Screw in Nut Threaded Fastener Connector Hex Socket Drive for Wood Furniture Assortment (1/4"-20 x 20mm) (phwew!) to hang the old speakers i have. Hung them in the living room, from the walls behind my pull down projector screen. I freed up a lot of floor space by hanging the speakers, but that doesn't say enough for these little bolts! They are perfect, nice black finish, and easy to install in the threaded wall inserts. Standard 1/4-20 thread. Flat head. They did the job and i trust them to keep doing the job! Why? Because they're quality fasteners. Not sure the speakers will last as long as these babies will, but long enough for me to get a rest of my lifetime enjoyment out of my entertainment system. That's pretty much all i have to say on that...

Made leg extensions for a futon. These worked fine with the 1/4x20 T-nuts I purchased.Not all furniture bolts are the same thread.
