Very Informative book.

Well written book! Worth reading

I know the book is very informative. I am unable to add the kindle version of this book to my shopping cart. I see the following message: "This title is not currently available for purchase". Could someone help to sort this? I am using amazon app in iPhone.

This has helped me during my pregnancy and it has been highly knowledgeable and easy to understand !

Dr. Gita Arjun delivered my sister. She is a brilliant gynec and also a very compassionate doctor. One of the best doctors I have ever come across.

This review is about the book and not the doctor. I have not met the doctor so cannot vouch for her emotions. I used this book to compare and learn the pregnancy practices between USA and India. The book is divided into several chapters based on trimesters and post pregnancy. It outlines the changes that happen with the mother and baby on a weekly basis. The book also provides the list of tests/scans that need to be taken. The book focuses on regular pregnancy (not high risk).

All first time moms, across the globe should read it. Each month is dealt with in detail, very easy to comprehend & follow. The pictures are very colourful & self defining.The book will definitely help to make pregnancy & labour a very pleasurable & memorable experience. Basically you can trust info since it’s written by doctor. I liked the little notes about myths every now and then.Covers almost all topics.You can definitely buy and refer when have questions

Just because you're ordering online & from Amazon, doesn't mean everything is going to be A+ quality product.For me, considering the amount of the book, the page quality is just fine, and the B&W images work well. I have glimpsed through the book and don't find anything untoward that can put me off. For me, I was looking for a quality content with decent printing & image quality and I guess for the latter two, this book works fine. As far as content is concerned, I will update on the same soon.Update: ContentThis is a brief book containing important snippets of all the pregnancy books you might find. With 8-10 pgs (max) per topic, the book gives a concise information on all things related to pregnancy. If you are looking for a book that is handy, well-written but something for a quick read, this is the one for you. However, if you want something detailed for topics like food, well being or other such particular topics, look for something else (I would still recommend this - consider this as your note book where you had jotted down the important points from the other books).Overall, 4/5 simply for covering major topics in a small book. A very handy book but not fulfilling if you are looking for detailed overview on particular topics
