COMFEE' 60 cm 60M77 Chimney Cooker Hood

It is a good extractor hood. Me and my family love cooking. However, the old unit was too weak which makes the detector in the hallway trigger very easily. It is a 650CMH unit and has a build-in damper to stop the draught. It is quite important in a windy winter. It comes with a 6 inch foil duct and some fixings. However, you most likely need to buy plaster board anchors. My home is with a 5 inch outlet. Therefore, I need to buy a 6->5 reducer to complete the install. The installation is rather simple until I want to seal up the joint with the masking tapes at the unit end. It is because the spigot is too close to the wall and electric box. I tried my best and add ties to ensure proper seal up. The lights are at 6500k which I personally don’t like. I prefer 4000k more. It is much more quiet than my old one(standard taper unit). The booster mode will step down to speed 3 after certain period of time. I need to turn it to booster again to complete cooking a steak. I would suggest the manufacturer to remove this feature and simply change it to speed 4. Tbh, I still need to close the kitchen door at booster mode. However, the smell gone right after I finish the cooking. A complete different world. I know there are some 8 inch duct products in the market. However, they are much more expensive and usually you need to find someone to enlarge the outlet. I hope the manufacturer can make a 800cmh unit. A very good looking design indeed and its gesture control is interesting. My family love it.

It looks great and works great. I love the fact that it's much more quiet than my previous cooker hoods and yet more powerful. The gesture controls are a cool gimmick but I have managed to accidentally activate the fan just by walking past.

I guess it is what you pay for, it looks fine but makes irregular noise, in particular with the carbon filter on the right attached. It seems that the motor is not well aligned or something. If it wasn't for this major flaw, it would be a decent buy for the money.

A really nice product that seems to be great value. The chimney is a little flimsy metal wise which can make certain installations awkward but it works fine. All the rest of the hardware seems solid, the lights don't look like they would be easily replaced as they are sealed units and they could do with being slightly brighter IMHO. Fans work well, and noices levels are good at low levels and totally tolerable even running at max settings. All in all a good purchase, will have to see how it holds up over time and use. The waving to turn it off and on is a bit of a hit and miss gimmick but when it does work it's fine. On face value, seems to punch above it weight and cost.

Used for 6 months, performance is quite good. Do anyone know the black rectangular shape filter with carbon washable or not? If it’s not washable, can it replaceable?

The range hood in my house is very old, so I chose to replace it with this COMFEE range hood. It has very tight packaging, and all accessories are fixed in the box by cardboard and foam, so it will not be damaged by swinging during moving. There is a blue protective film on the brand new stainless steel surface, a built-in 80W motor, a complete set of exhaust pipe filters, and a touch control panel. It has four speeds, easy installation, strong exhaust suction, and low noise. It is much better than the range hood I used before!

It replaces my old one which was making a terrible noise. Very quiet and strong suction. To keep the level of noise down i upgrade the size of hole from 100mm - existing one to 150mm for new one. Looks very modern and touch buttons work fine. I avoid to use gestures function. It's working but it's a gimmick. Time will say how well built this unit is. At the moment work's perfect. Recommended.
