Solid assistance for socializing and settling new adoptees and rehomes.
I got this product to help with the process of rehoming and settling a new dog in a home with residents dogs. Husky breeds. It did a solid job of helping them relax without completely knocking them out. Definitely reduced anxiety and general intensity and made the social transition easier. I've tried a number of calming bites in the past. The L-theanine dosage in these treats is present, effective and really did help expedite the settling process.

Make sure your dog can handle dairy before giving!
Tried these for my new rescue dog. He ended up in doggy ER with a very inflamed colon after just one chew. I took the chews to the vet and she said the ingredients were great. But my new baby probably can't have any dairy. And with this having colostrum, she thinks that was the cause. Just make sure your dog can have dairy products before giving. I can't comment on if they worked or not, but my vet did say they were good ingredients.

No noticeable calming effect for my dog
Unfortunately, these didn’t work for my 17 lb dog. I started with a half of a chew and gradually increased to two, but I didn’t notice any meaningful calming effect on her behavior or anxiety, including during a weekend trip when she was particularly stressed. They also made her stool softer. She has a very sensitive stomach, so I can’t necessarily blame the product for that, but it’s worth mentioning for other sensitive dogs. I really wanted this product to work, but unfortunately I didn’t see enough of a difference to continue using them.
