Easy installation

ONe of the stock lift support struts failed on my A.R.E. LSII hard tonneau cover. Less than 3 mos old. The place I bought it from had to order new ones and they are an hour or so away. I found these on Amazon and they spec'd out fine. They are a little longer (closed) than the OEM ones but they fit perfect and the cover stays open now. I searched for the OEM part number from the failed strut but it doesn't seem to exist.

I received my order for my project and it was not long enough. So I return ordered. And ordered a longer set.

The revet with the treads broke off need new ones.

I purchased these to use on a very heavy murphy bed. They would not compress at all. In fact, when I tried to force my murphy bed closed, instead of compressing, it tore the 3/4" plywood that it was attached to! So, I guess I could say that they are very durable because they tore the snot out of a 3/4" thick sheet of plywood! I returned two sets that I purchase and do not recommend these at all.

This is a replacement for the hatch door of my camper shell. When I first opened the package, I thought they wouldn't fit since one end is angled. Then I realized they would go on perfectly when installed the opposite direction from the originals. They were very simple to install. They've been on for a couple of months and are still working great.
