Beautiful sound at 440 Hz , which I understand it is not the angelic vibration. However I really cannot tell the difference. This steel drum is easy to use and very pretty and well made. There are two ways to play it: using notes that remind the sounds if church bells and using all the traditional 7 notes. There are stick on numbers enclosed to label your notes. The Steel Drum has a nice case too to store it away. I originally bought it for my grandaugher but I use it more than she does.i do not have any musical talent but the church bells notes are for everyone. It makes a great gift for anyone age 7+. It is great for meditation and relaxation too. I found several tutorials on youtube where expert musician/users are using exactly this same drum.

This steel tongue drum was purchased as a birthday gift for my adult daughter. I thought she may enjoy it as a stress reliever from her high stress job. I thought it would also be fun to play! She was surprised I had come up with such a fun and unique gift and was super excited to try it out. The tones are very soothing and ethereal. The navy color is pretty. I chose the Hopwell drum because it had many positive reviews and was a good price. I would definitely recommend!

I am not going to lie. This is a challenge for the brain if you play Guitar or Piano, but it is easier than a Flute, Clarinet, or Sax. The notes are numbered and not sequential. The music book sent with it has no explanation of how to read this type of tablature for the drum. Sure, you can line a number up, but what do the other marks mean when applying to a drum. I only recognize some things from normal music, like where to repeat, and a sustained note, but it would be nice to have a little explanation. Now with the drum. It sounds beautiful. The quality is nice for the price, and the full range of notes help when you want to just listen to some music and play it by ear. The low note and a few others do sound metal drum like, which I wish wasn’t the case, but I think this is a great starting drum.

I love the tones this drum produces, deep and sonorous, and very relaxing. This is my first drum, and it seems well made and solid. As a long time musician I am finding that there is a learning curve, and tone placement is not intuitive. I really have to get used to where things are. I still give it 5 stars, as once I get used to it there will be no problem!

This was a gift for our 11 year old grandson. It is very well made. Before the family left our house, everyone had had a turn on it. The sound is just beautiful!

This was a gift for our grandson 11, he is I band at school and was looking for something unique, this is that, it is compact, the sounds produced are lovely. Not at all harsh ,listening to him even just earning is pleasant, not an instrument you have to hide from. His parents have thanked us for getting something that is a pleasure to hear. Shipping was great, the drum exactly S described. Very happy with this product.

I own a Rav Vast which is a steel tongue drum with 9 precision tuned notes. It's an absolutely beautiful instrument and the sounds it makes are beyond amazing. I was curious what a $60 steel tongue drum was like to play so I bought this not expecting much but tbh I'm amazed at how much fun I have playing this. The overtones are not tuned and the notes are not separated with ribs like the vast but it's very fun to play and something about the unturned overtones just gives it that meditative vibe that feels good. Overall it was definitely worth the price.

Sounds really nice but I think the mallets are a little heavy to get a good sound out of the highest 3 notes, they just don't rebound fast enough not to mute the note as you play it. Maybe with practice I can get it to sound right without using different mallets. It's quite loud compared to the small drums, seems good quality. Overall, I like it

Sa légèreté et son petit diamètre facilite la position pour jouer. La sonorité est appréciable pour tous débutants. Il est facile de pratiquer régulièrement. Comme premier instrument de percussion, j’adore. En plus c’est un bel objet qui le rend plus accessible pour la pratique. Il n’a pas besoin d’être dans son enveloppe. La livraison fut rapide avec un emballage le protégeant adéquatement. Jouer avec les baguettes ou les doigts ajoutent des sonorités diverses. Les voisins de mon appartement ne sont pas dérangés par les sons. C’est très zen.
