I bought these to support my joints as I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, i work as an Occupational Therapist and have a lot of experience with hand splints. i used to wear the brown 'Futura splint' as these are std issue from the NHS, as my hands are small i found they dug into my palmer crease, hence looking on Amazon to some replacements. I bought a pair of these and have to say that I am impressed with the fit, the overall length is good for me (I take a small in gloves) and I bought the Medium as other reviews had advised. These splints are highly adjustable and each strap can be pulled tighter or loosened off the provide just the right level of support. The splint overlaps on the top of the hand and this allows it to move as you use your hand, I particularity like the extra velcro around the wrist as this really does provide support and prevents excessive movement of the wrist, so if you are resting your hands due to a flare up of symptoms this would help considerably. I would advise you to trim the velcro on the straps once you have found a comfy fit as this prevents it sticking into you, make sure to round the edges off otherwise it will prick tour skin. These splints are very comfortable to wear and I will be buying another pair very soon.

The band that goes around wrist is just big enough and I took medium, although my wrist size could have been small as well as medium... I have a skin condition, so wear cream and a tubigrip or cotton glove under the support at night, but even with all that my hand is not too hot, so well done for breath ability. From my point of view, the fabric is a bit itchy and scratchy, especially the Velcro that goes above the thumb, but it got a bit better with use. I bought this as my doctor recommended something like this, as he suspected I may have carpal tunnel problems, and my fingers seem to be less painful and more useful after a week's use. It's very light. My only way of improving it would be a soft version for sensitive skin.

I bought a size bigger after reading other reviews, and I'm glad I did, as I don't think the smaller size would have been comfortable to wear. This size is and has brought relief at night time from the pain and discomfort of carpel tunnel syndrome in both hands. I've been wearing them regularly for a few weeks now and have noticed a difference. The material doesn't cause my hands to sweat. The velcro fastenings sometimes catch on my skin but it hasn't put me off wearing them. Good value for money too as my local pharmacy has a similar product on sale at £15.99! for one support!

I was looking for something to help after badly spraining my wrist, but needed something that would allow me to continue to use my hand freely. This product arrived promptly and although when i first put it on i found it painful, i think this was due to having starting holding my wrist/hand at on odd angle in an attempt to ease the pain from my wrist injury. This product made me hold my wrist/hand correctly due to the metal splint, which also supported my wrist beautifully and after a day of wearing this the pain started to ease, after 10 days my sprain was almost healed i still get twinges now and then after over using my wrist (carrying heavy shopping, walking my occasionally over excited dog) so i wear this for a day or too and it sorts me out immediately. I would whole heartedly recommend this product for both one off injuries as well as long term problems

bought this for my son who broke his wrist playing football back in the summer , after having his cast removed he wanted to wear something to support his wrist, it certainly did that, he also felt more confident when he went back to playing football wearing it as he felt it gave his wrist a bit of protection and he wore the support for a few months whilst playing until he felt fully confident, fully breathable material and my son said very comfortable as he could adjust it to fit him and tighten or loosen as required, i washed it in the machine no problems, i ordered a size larger to make sure it fitted and had more room for adjustment my son is 16 of slim athletic build the size guide vs his wrist measurement came out as needing a medium but i ordered a large which was perfect , i would definitely recommend this product

Really well made and great value for money. It does come up small though, hence removing a star. I don't t have chubby wrists but was at the top end of medium according to the size chart. But medium was way to small and even the large is a bit tight around the arm. But it's nice and snug on the wrist and hand, without being to tight. I have found the inside a bit itchy. But I do have sensitive skin, so that could be me?
