I have to start by saying this stuff is amazing!! 6 years ago I starting loosing my hair due to my lupus and my eyebrows were not spared. It’s been one of the most embarrassing things I’ve had to deal with. I’m always faced with having to explain to people why I don’t have brows by telling them about my illness or people just assume I shave them or over plucked them and that’s annoying and extremely embarrassing. It’s really made me so self-conscious and no matter what I always feel like everybody is staring and judging my brows. I’ve tried everything to grow them back and nothing worked so i had to settle for filling them in everyday witch brought a whole new set of problems. It’s is so time consuming and no matter how hard I try I continue to have more fails then anything. I’ve tried almost every product out there and some have been ok but they always wipe off so easy. I’m always worried about anyone touching my face because I fear they will accidentally whipe one off. I live in Florida so it gets so hot all the time and anytime I sweat I’m so afraid my brows will run. when I’m in the water or on my motorcycle Im always worried about them the most. I either have to deal with being embarrassed that I hardly have any or be worried about them being whipped off all the time. Its been very hard. I’ve wanted to get them done but I’m afraid they will mess up and I’ll be stuck with horrible up uneven eyebrows forever that can’t be fixed and have a even bigger problem. Then I found this product and took a chance but I’ll be honest that I didn’t have much faith. But Omg to my surprise this stuff is amazing!!!. I put it to the test today and rode my motorcycle to work. Usually my helmet wipes them off right away but no to my surprised they were still on. They stayed on all day even while I got sweaty and when I did a hot wet steamy spa treatment on a client and I got soaked. To top it off I rode home and they were still on when I took my helmet off again. I didn’t have to do any touch ups the entire day either. I’m hooked and a client for life. Thank you so much. Im in tears right now because I’m so happy. You definitely need to buy this product.!!! **Update** Ok so I’ve been using this product for a little while now and I love it more and more every day. I purchased a great thin brow brush that has helped me apply this so much better and I’m getting a littler better at making pretty brows everyday. One of the things I love the most about this product is that It goes on so easy and when it drys it actually looks like there is tiny fibers that look like hair. It doesn’t just look like I painted on a color like some other products. I think the a very thin brow brush is very important because it’s allows me to make thin lines that look like individual hairs. I really wish this product came with one because that would make it a lot easier. I like the one i found but I’m still trying to find a thinner one to help make them look even more natural. Besides that I absolutely love this product. It’s still stays on so well even with everything I do. I recently went to the beach ans put this to the test and went out surfing and they styled on the entire time and looked fantastic. I still get all teared up when talking about how much this has really changed my life. I know it sounds stupid but my eyebrows were a very difficult subject for me because it was a constant Visual reminder of my illness and I spent so much time worrying about weather or not mine looked horrible or I lost one. Now I can relax a little bit and finally not worry so much. Yes it still sucks that I still have to take time every morning to put my brows on BUT on top of the fact this product looks amazing it also takes a lot less time to create a great natural looking brow then any product I’ve ever tried so I’m extremely happy and I will be a permanent customer. I’m so grateful for finding this because it really changed my life.

I've been using this product for years, only bc it has very good staying power, easy to use (once ur past the practice stage) & it's much cheaper than other products out there. I haven't broke down & bought anything over $10, so keep that in mind also. I've tried another option with the screw off top & brush applicator by the same brand & it doesn't work like this gel with wand applicator. I added a pic to show the before & after of how I apply it free handed, then using a cotton swab with alcohol, I define the shape of brow to my preference. It's much easier to practice with a stencil when 1st trying to attempt a realist look. After u get the shape u desire, u can prob do better than me without having to use alcohol swab to remove the excess. Until then, experimenting is fun & application can change according to ur mood or desired look. It does have a thick consistency to it that's not completely natural looking tho, and can transfer onto other things like clothing or ur arm if ur like me & lay ur arm on ur head. That's one thing about it that has led me on another search for something better. I may end up spending more money, but it may be worth it. Noting that I have blonde hair & the color of product u see in the photo is light blonde, the lightest shade they make. It still looks like brown to me, but it's better than having a green tint like some other brands have left on my skin...yuk! Overall, it's an easy, workable solution to having little to no eyebrows & even better on the wallet for those who want to practice before buying something more expensive. It lasts for a few months using it once a day & I have added a few drops of tea tree essential oil to mine to make it less dry when it get to that point, but it will not have the staying power it did when new, of course, bc ur adding oily substance to something that's not oily. Plus, ur skin has natural oils that will cause this product to come off easier, so remember to apply to freshly cleaned face for better staying power. Hope this helps someone like me that struggles with eyebrow dilemma.

Love love love this product and will most likely try to order up as many as possible for this is particular formula is no longer available on the shelf. Maybelline sells a product of the same name in a different smaller package and this replacement does not meet my needs whatsoever. It wipes right off; lacks substance upon application making it difficult to use…takes a long time to dry…and is more like a transparent jelly giving very little color or pigment to my barely there eyebrows. It takes me over 5 minutes at times to do my brows with the new product, supplementing other products for pigment, resulting in a very messy completely unsatisfactory appearance. This formula here, the one that never should have been messed with and still should be on the shelves everywhere, goes on so easy with enough pigment the first time. It sets immediately allowing a comb through if done within a minute, leaving a natural looking beautiful result that holds up through work outs and removes easy with cleanser. People can not believe all this brow is product and not my real brows! Best done with an angled brow brush, then combed with a spooly. Another plus to this product and probably why it was too good to leave alone I’m guessing is an application requires only the smallest bit of product. It goes so far, just tapping my angle brush on a pin point sized portion of product is enough to complete one brow! This one tube of product lasts more than 6 months..… and I do full makeup each day. Sometimes multiple times in a day if I must wash my face or have skin care treatments done or have dirty dusty jobs to do… this product simply f’ing rocks and I am so happy to find it on Amazon. It reminds me of wunderbrow I tried for 40-50 bucks years ago but this product is even better.

I love love love this stuff. I love it so much I make sure I have one at work, home, in my purse and gym bag. I literally do not like to be without it. I have semi-microbladed eyebrows that have since faded. I am on the fence about getting them redone. With that being said, I need a product that I can rely on in the interim. PROS: The product goes on fast, smooth and the most important part for me, is not flakey, stiff or cakey. The color is as expected, which is really nice. I hate guessing games. There is a lot of product for your money and there are discounts available on multiple orders. I love that you can be subtle at first with just a little or get bold and slather it on for a night out. CONS: I did not find that it lasted longer than a day as when you wake up it does smudge. However, in the pool and sea, as long as I didn't wipe it off harshly, it stayed put. It does dry rather quickly so have your spoolie, and eyebrow brush ready for catching mistakes and smooth-out. Just be sure to play with it a little bit so give yourself some time.

I'm so disappointed in this product. I have very fair skin and extremely light blonde eyebrows (redhead with basically "invisible" eyebrows). Every day when I color in my brows, it's like starting with a completely blank canvas, which does not bode well for symmetry. When I first heard about this product - oohhh the possibility of only drawing on brows every other day... I literally dream of that - I was psyched. But after a month of use, I'm sad to admit: it's only hype; the product does not deliver on it's promise. First, you should know it's VERY dark. That's fine with me (I like a bolder brow), but many others would not appreciate this feature. Second: it doesn't last through anything. I'm comparing this to many basic brow products I've tried over the years, most notably, using pressed M•A•C eyeshadow with a liner brush, which outlasts this pithy product. Yup, you read that correctly: eye shadow powder applied to brows with a liner brush - without ANY primer or finisher to seal in the color - legitimately lasts longer than this "48 hour" product. I knew trouble was brewing the first day I used it at night/after a shower, waking up the next morning with no trace of the product remaining. The packaging states not to use makeup remover with/near the applied product. I should also advise you not to wash your face AT ALL, even with a gentle Cetaphil-like cleanser, EVEN IF you avoid your brows entirely. As it turns out, any moisture, humidity, or touch near the areaa, etc., is enough to make it disappear like magic. But, like dark magic that takes your money, not the fun kind. If none of that bothers you enough, try this on for size: I bought this hoping it would lower the frequency at which I needed to draw on my brows, yet I actually need to apply this product MORE OFTEN than anything else I've used. I highly discourage this purchase. I missed my return window so I'm going to put this review anywhere else possible. For reference, I bought from Amazon. Keep your money; buyer beware!

I’m so happy to find a drugstore eyebrow product that is actually long wearing and not too time consuming to apply! I have very sparse brows so I’ve tried every product under the sun that claims to be waterproof or long lasting. So far anything that lives up to those claims are either expensive or too time consuming to apply. This however is neither of those things! I’d compare this to wunderbrow but I like this product so much more. I found wunderbrow was a little streaky for me and didn’t do well on parts of my eyebrows that were extremely sparse. This filled in the sparse areas perfect. Only draw back for me is the applicator is a bit too bulky for the areas I like to define more and it laid down a bit too much product if I wasn’t careful. Instead I used a small dense angled brow brush to apply small amounts of the product, and brushed through with the spoolie that comes with it and was able to get a clean, defined natural look that didn’t take too long. Once it dries down it DOES NOT budge which is the #1 thing I look for in a brow product. Thank you maybelline for creating an affordable, high quality product! *update - I think possibly issues with this product not being budge or waterproof might just be the way it’s applied. I’ve been using this consistently and usually go with a very light hand and do more of a brushed out wash for a natural look and the thin layer seems to stay put quite well. Using it more with a heavy hand and kind of layering it seems to be when it doesn’t last as long in my experience

I ordered two of these because lately I haven't been able to find it in store but I love this product for my eyebrows. However, when I opened one of the tunes to use it, the product was clumpy as if dried out and pasty and wouldn't coat the applicator at all. I tried to get a replacement but even though it's a prime item it said that it was ineligible for return/replacement. I'm just gald that the second one was totally fine and usable, it was just very frustrating to not be able to solve the problem.

I have absolutely NO eyebrows. (Thanks mom for being a natural ginger) Like just a few little hairs to the front of my brow but any other hair grows towards my eyelids. I was really considering micro blading but after the price and how you to get it rid done after a year or so depending on how much you swear and out in the sun can make it last less longer. I saw this product with someone I follow on instagram who had the same eyebrow issue I have so I decided to give it a try. This changed my mind on getting micro-blading. Now, if you try to go in with the brush, it will look thick and give you block eyebrows (throwback to Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow circa 2016). But here’s how you actually use it. Get a thin angled eyebrow brush that has a spoolie. I use the wet n wild one that is 90 cents. I also use the maybelline eyebrow pencil that is really thin to create an eyebrow shape. Once I create my shape, I fill them in with this. Dab just a little amount of the eyebrow brush onto the tip of the brush that is attached to this wand. Start towards the middle and work your way to the tail of the eyebrow. Then whatever is left over, start blending it towards the front of the brow. To give that faded look to the front of the brow, I take the spoolie and just brush it up. You can easily clean it up with a q-tip and micellar water or whatever makeup remover you use. And TA-DAH! You’ve got brows. The best part of this stuff? IT LASTS FOR DAYS. Sometimes even a whole week before reapplying. I wash my face and dab the water off around my eyebrows and it’s still hanging in there. I’ve worn this in 100 degree weather and sweating profusely and this stuff never budges. Even when you go to wash it off, it takes quite a bit of rubbing to get it off. And what’s even better? This tube will last you MONTHS. I bought my last tube in June and it’s almost February and I finally need to buy a new one. And for $10 compared to $500-$600 for micro-blading, I’ll choose this over everything.

The colour is long lasting. Don't rub the brow after your applied this as it will still come off and with your brow! I bought the colour blonde but it is brown. Good for having brow when I go exercising ;)

It was difficult to work out how to use because apparently in some countries it peels off and in others it doesn't. Once I washed my face and got the bits off my skin surrounding my eyebrows, the bits that were in the hair area did stay for a few days.

I have been using this product for about 5 yrs now. When applied it looks really professional and is so easy to do and gives your face such a lift. It obviously does more than just an eyebrow pencil which is why I prefer to use it. Fits easily into your bag but to be honest you never have to reapply during the time you have it on. It just comes off easily with facial wipes as it's waterproof. I hope they never discontinue this item as it has now become one of my staple pieces to enhance or thicken my eyebrows. Well recommended

It really works and is ideal for long wear as in journeys. Only thing is that I fine it difficult to directly apply with the given wand and instead use an eyebrow brush which solves that problem
