ACER ASPIRE ONE D255E / D260 Netbook Replacement Laptop LCD SCREEN 10.1" WSVGA LED

The replacement laptop screen for my daughters Acer Aspire Onearrived in good condition. Well packaged and unharmed. It was easilyinstalled and she's quite happy to have a working netbook pc again!I have many years of electronics/computer experience, so removal of thedamaged screen and installation of this product was extremely easy forme. As far as a do-it-yourself pc repair project...this one is prettysimple and straight-forward. There are several instructional videos onYouTube that should make it easy for anyone with basic hands-on experiencein at home type fix-it projects. Overall I am quite satisfied with thisreplacement screen... It is as well constructed as the original and offersas-good-as-new performance. I assumed that this screen was compatible with my acer aspire one d255 but aparently it wasnt. I'll now have to buy a new d255 motherboard. or else my laptop is screwed.

I purchased this screen to replace my sister-in-law's screen, which I accidentally broke when disassembling her netbook to install some RAM that she purchased for it. It appears identical in every way to the OEM screen.I specifically purchased my replacement screen from East Coast LCDs, so I cannot speak for any of the other third-party re-sellers that Amazon uses. East Coast LCDs shipped the item promptly, it was the correct item, and it works perfectly in the netbook.It has been in use now for over a month. I will report back if it fails in what I would consider a premature timeframe.

Upon installing the screen, which fit Perfectly, I noticed a few 1/4" lines of dead pixels in 5 different spots. Not wanting to be wasteful, and after reading up on what is considered an acceptable/realistic number of dead pixels, I opted to keep the screen...After all, I had already gone through the process of installing it.Here we are many months later and the pixels had been spreading slowly but surely the whole time that I've had it. Now I would estimate that there is approximately 25% of the area on my screen with dead pixels. I guess I should have sent it back immediately. BTW- the screen seems to have been packaged very well with much bubble wrap. I can assume that the screen was crappola when it was shipped.

Easy....light weight ... Reasonable cost...only thing was no instructions if I didn't already review how to do the replacement I would have been a little frustrated from not having instruction. So far so good works very well...only one try...simple...

I can confirm that this screen is compatible with the Acer AOD-270-1375 netbook. I haven't found too many laptop screens that weren't interchangeable with others. This new screen looks exactly like the original and fit perfectly. It took me three minutes to install it and it brought my netbook back from the dead. The laptop automatically recognized the new screen and worked right out of the package. It is packaged in bubble wrap and an anti-static bag to protect it during transport and installation. It has been about six months since installation and it still works great and is free of dead and stuck pixels.

I got this screen to replace a cracked one on my Acer Aspire One 10.1 inch netbook. When I got it out of the package, the top left corner was cracked about three inches deep into the screen. I'm not sure if the packaging was to blame or if they just sent me a cracked screen. It wouldn't surprise me either way though. The packaging was just a piece of foam taped to the front of the screen and some plastic air-filled bubbles laying on top.

Broke the screen on one of these new mini laptops, expected the price of a new bare-LCD screen to be more than the computer. Pleasantly surprised to find out the screen was much cheaper than expected and well worth ordering the part to replace it. Get to keep all the original data on the computer without a tedious transfer, screen went in relatively easy, and new screen works just as well as the old one ever did!
