Will wood glue take to the hardened wood ok ?

I can’t give you a definite answer, but the Wood hardener sets firm, so it isn’t porous like wood. I’m guessing that wood glue wouldn’t “take” properly?

Does the treatment stain or change the colour of the natural wood? small area needs treating but I dont want the colour of the wood to be different

you will never be able to fill a gap or hole to match existing colour, even when it is natural wood. My best assessment is that the colour is a light beige. You would have to dye the surface to match.

It's a clear liquid, if that's what your asking by your question. It seemed good when I used it. Drys nice and hard.

will this protect a tree stump carving of a owl

It will help. I used it indoors but it said it was also rated for outdoor use
