De Juan Fig and Almond Fruit Cake 200 g

This is a natural product that I discovered in the Algarve in Portugal where Fig trees grow wild!Its outragiuosly expensive to import fig cake from Portugal to London.I ordered one on the internet for £13 for a small fig cake. Amazon sells these for half the price. This fig cake is similar to the Portugese one but made in Spain.It will keep me going until I return to Portugal for the many devine ways,shapes and forms.... the portugese serve "Fig cakes" in their Cafe's! I have P.W.S. Portugese Withdraw Symptoms!

I adore dried figs and my favourite nut is the Almond - what more could I want? Nothing. This is delicious, so I wish it was larger than 250gms, but it is very expensive so 250gms will have to do - particularly when you add the cost of postage! Still, it would make a great present, even to yourself.

Purchased several of these for Christmas gifts. One was for my hubbie so I got to try it! Perfect with a plate of cheese. Wonderful flavour and texture.
