My AC wouldn't start up, it was just buzzing. After a quick search online I found it probably needed a new capacitor. So I turned the power off to my AC unit and it took just a few screws to open the side panel. I was able to see the power rating on my capacitor which matched this one. It was quick and easy to swap out and now my AC starts right up!

The capacitor is the most common point of failure for outside central air conditioner units. I ordered and installed this capacitor based on YouTube videos faster than the repairman could be scheduled. Saved at least $100. CAUTION: make sure you order a replacement with the same TWO RATINGS. YouTube videos explain it in 5 minutes.

Our air conditioner went out, my husband you tubed the problem. He ordered the part from Amazon, replaces the part in 10 mins. Saved us hundreds of dollars. Remember to turn off the power box.

Used it to replace the one in my central air conditioning unit. Works just as well the last one I bought locally from an appliance parts store. Which cost three times as much as this one, and only lasted 3 years. Only time will tell on how long this one last, but even if it only last half as long I'm still ahead by the price.

I literally installed this capacitor at the beginning of May and here we are at the end of June and it has failed. Replaced with a backup and AC is working fine again. My previous capacitor ran for 8 years.
