Mizuno Men's Wave Sonic Running Shoes

Always preferred the minimal type shoes, and this shoes finds the balance of giving that feel, while providing enough support - so you don't feel the impact of the surface on your feet. It's extremely light, stable and very comfortable on long runs - which it was primarily purchase for. Breathe-ability is also very good. Hoping that some of the other colours, besides the boring black, and new green become available soon.

I only run in Mizunos because size 8.5 fits me very well. So there's no reason for me change brands.I've ran in previous minimal Mizunos and this one is no different. Ekiden, Ronins, and that's exactly what I expected!I've also ran in Mizuno Wave Riders but I found them heavy and bulky, though they are still great, just not what I want to run in.I run primarily on road surfaces with the Sonics and they are holding up.I have purchased 5 of these models, because they are great, and as you probably know, once the model is gone, it's gone forever.Great purchase!

Well after 4 years of being a really free ambazador of MIZUNO I can tell you how many miles you can run by model , and how hard it is to let go when they reach there millage ... that is is if you do 40 miles or mor per week , if you are a walker guy they could last for ever ! the best for preventing unwanted pains for COMITTED ATHLETES

Great running shoe, very light, very comfortable weave material. I would NOT run with these shoes in trails or excessive paved roads. I save them for track surfaces as often as possible. I am an 11.5/12 and the 12 fits perfect. I have SuperFeet insole and wear 2 pairs of thin socks no problem at all.

Fit great, feel great. Nice and light. Use them for regular training and just ran a 1/2 Marathon with them. Hadn't planned on using them for distance/long days, but they felt so good I started using them on longer runs. Dinged one star as the sole wears quickly relative to other Mizuno running shoes I've used.

Firm and a touch heavier than expected. I did one moderate workout in then and then raced a 5k 2 days later and felt pretty good.I did find these to be a little slippery on wet surfaces.

These shoes are great, my only edit would be the redesign of the toe liner inside the shoe, when putting them on my toe catches the edge, it’s fine once foot is all the way in.The liner that forms the tip of the shoe just needs to run a little deeper on the top of the shoe.I will buy another pair!!

Nice Shoes to workout in...

Solid shoe for the price, no question there are better kicks out there but for the money I was surprised at how well they fit and feel. Quite stylish in my estimation and decent build quaility.
