ケチって炭床を買っていなかったので、仰いでいないと火が弱くなってました。購入して使用後は、『早く買っとけば良かった』という感じです。科学的な話は分かりませんが、空気の流れがいいんだと思います。重さについては、質問が『軽さは？』となっているからであり、問題点とは思いません

30余年使用していた薪ストーブのロストルが3年前には変形し､使えなくなりました。購入先に問い合わせても該当品が無く、現有のロストルを送ってきました。形状が悪い上に、2年目には変形して写真(左）のような有様です。ネットで探しましたが､適切な該当品が無く､アマゾンで見つけたスノーピーク炭床L（写真右）を購入しました。脚部が無く平面な正方形ですが、下に耐火煉瓦を噛まして使っています。耐熱性も有り、通風性も良く薪の組み立てにも自由さが有り、気に入っております。炭火用とされていますので最初は不安でしたが、今後の使用にも耐えられると思います。

Bought this because it was on sale....Snow Peak makes solid quality products. Great for just having a campfire but the grill is so much fun to use. I resisted buying the coal grate but it makes a huge difference and will save you frustration getting it hot enough.

I must admit: this grill is much, much heavier than I had expected. It's made of stainless steel, yet its weight feels more like cast iron. It fits well in the Takibi firepit and with a lifetime guarantee, I suppose that you can't really go wrong with it. It also fits in the bag that I purchased as part of the Takibi $300 combo. It's made in Japan, and as you may already know, their products generally are made of high quality.
