The best of the current lay books on TS
There are many books on TS. I don't know or care about Kurt Cobain having TS (in the sense that every book can have some mistakes), but is this an indication of the quality of the work? No. This book is by some of the most capable experts in the field, is the most comprehensive and readable of any to be available for the lay public, and is also valuable for clinicians. It is published on behalf of the Tourette Syndrome Association (USA), but I am pleased to see its availability on Amazon. The price is reasonable. It is not at all easy to cover the subject well because of the highly variable symptoms, so the co-authors deserve high praise. I have contributed this book to some of the schools where my most complex patients attend. -- Roger D. Freeman, M.D., Neuropsychiatry Clinic, BC Children's Hospital, Vancouver.

A very good guide to TS
I was very pleasantly surprised by this book. For $3, I was expecting a brief overview and hopefully a couple of new tidbits, but this book is packed with the most up-to-date information about diagnosis, genetics, treatments, comorbid disorders, coping strategies, etc. I highly recommend it to people with TS and their families.

A Must Have For Anyone Living With Tourette Syndrome
Being a Tourette Syndrome advocate and information provider, I found the TSA book to be comprehensive and thorough in describing the journey of anyone living with Tourette Syndrome. Each chapter is written by experts in the specific subject discussed, providing a realistic overview of the disorder, the treatment options and the potential for the person with the disorder as well as the family.

Tourettes
I have found this book to be a great help in understanding a bit more about Tourettes and being able to find some tips to help the child I work with.

A must-read for families affected by Tourette Syndrome
This book provides a comprehensive introduction Tourette Syndrome for the newly diagnosed and\or people wondering if it could be TS. It is an invaluable source of trustworthy information, advice, and opinions from knowledgeable experts presented in a way that doesn't take a medical degree to understand. Great book!

Family Guide to Tourettes Syndrome
A very interesting and helpful book, edited by Dr John Walkup (check out some of his presentations about Tourettes online - he explains things very well). It is really good to have this book for reference.
