Dads get the baby blues too.
I bought this book because my partner, someone who I had been attracted to originally because of his carefree and happy nature, fell inexplicably into depression when he first became a father.I was of course pre-occupied with looking after the baby at this time and unable to provide the understanding and support that he needed. This area is virtually un-researched and the author's courageous investigation has already led to growing media attention on what seems to be quite a common problem.A first rate and helpful resource!

A must for all parents
Excellent read, really informative book about a subject that should have a lot more recognition. Thoroughly recommend.

Do not underestimate this book's importance!
Without going into any great detail, this book really struck a cord with me and helped me to understand and deal with a time of my life which has proved extremely testing and upsetting. It is so important that male post-natal depression is recognised and acknowledged sooner rather than later. Let's hope that this excellent book is the first step in helping the thousands of men and their families affected by this destructive but under-recognised illness.
