It has sound effects!!!!
My son for Halloween was Anakin Skywalker and I needed a light saber. I found this one and didn't expect all that it does. It makes noises when you hit it on something. It opens and closes easily for my one year old and because it plastic when he hits you with it, it doesn't hurt super bad. It doesn't feel super cheap, I think you get what you pay for and its an alternative to the light saber at Disneyland. Since halloween my son likes to play against his sister with it.

Fun lightsaber for the kiddo. Sound effects are a bit quieter than other lightsabers, but we don’t mind!

Nice Sounds
I bought a Blue Lightsaber, but the sound was terrible if it even made it. I sent it back an ordered the green one, and the sounds are great, only when it goes down it got stuck , so with a little this and that, it now goes down a little easier. My grandson loves the sounds and the lights. Somewhat Durable. Would buy again.
