Not very good quality. Customer support is non existent. I bought it because of the price and wanted to learn woodturning. Should have spent more on a better lathe....would NOT recommend

Wimpey motor - can't run for more than 30 min without letting it cool.
Three issues.The tool post is too large for working on small projects, and it doesn't stay locked in placc while working.The tail piece spindle doesn't have a locking part - tends to back out while working.The drive spindle is not a standard size; you will need an adaptor if you want to use a chuck.

dont buy it .
i bought two of these . the first one was not welded right , not square . the second one the motor bogged down . no power . overheating , i have to say that this is the first problem that i have had with amazon .

Tail stock may come broken watch out
Hey I got this and I used it not bad for a cheap price but when I opened my box up and started to put things together the tail stock was broken on one side and I don't have time to fix this and I can't weld so now I can use it but looking for a better tail stock so be prepared it may come broken very crappy welds on it too.

very poor instructions and quailty
does not turn for a long time instructions ar poor. cannot find a chuck for it or any additional parts for turning. do not t recommend this lathe for any one too cheep . very disappointed in this product
