Daffodil 7” USB Desk Fan UFN120 - Stay Cool at your Desk on Hot Summer Days - Small and Portable, Great For Work [Black]

Bought 5 of these for the office during the recent heatwave and I am really pleased with them. I purchased the 7 inch version ( the largest available). On full power it gives out a good blast. Not as strong as an mains powered electric fan but strong enough to have a good stiff breeze blowing. I like the fact that you can adjust the strength. Build quality is ok. They are plastic , hence the price, but I would say they were good value for money. Bottom line - if you want a small desktop fan that will keep you cool then this is the solution. If you want a powerful blaster that will blow all the papers off your desk then you should buy a mains powered electric fan.

With regards to these cheap plastic items, I am not a fan, and perhaps would argue that neither is this. Whilst it does blow air to some extent, unless you are sat directly on the blades then the beating wings of a fly probably have a greater chance of cooling you down. I'm not saying that you shouldn't purchase these; do consider investing a tenner of your hard earned money if your asthmatic grandmother isn't available for whatever reason. I can honestly say that the purchase of four of these was perhaps the worst I have ever made.

The fan is great value for money it’s the ideal size to sit on top of the bed side cabinet and quiet enough not to disturb through the night it is also ideal in the living room when sat watching your favourite tv programmes or doing hobbies and it would be particularly good in the office or nurses station as it hardly takes up any space and it’s not too powerful that it would be blowing papers all over plus you can adjust the angle and speed of the fan it’s a perfect little fan.

I bought this for keeping on my desk at work during this summer's heatwave. Personally, at £11.95 I felt it was quite pricey for the quality - but the price was to be expected during a heatwave. There's nothing to fault about it really at all; it just feels quite light and flimsy, but it works perfectly fine. The speed is fully adjustable (on a dial), and it's quiet enough that it doesn't bother my colleagues in a small office. Obviously it's not the most powerful fan in the world but it was perfectly suited to being sat at a desk in a boiling office, and it's still useful even in the winter if the heating is on too high or I've been running around!

Some of the reviews don’t understand the limitations of blade size, In my experience I thought the noise level was quite good considering it’s size but I am hugely impressed with its performance. Build quality is acceptable given its cost so fingers crossed on it’s durability

Buying USB fans can be quite hit and miss, they're great in that they run straight from a USB port which if you set up the computer correctly means they come on automatically on start up and turn off when you shutdown. Unfortunately they are often let down by either noise or power. This one is for me let down by power. Let's start with the positives first though this fan has: - Great design - Adjustability in fan direction on the vertical axis - Variable speed controllable with a nice control knob. - Relatively quiet operation It is let down by the actual wind it creates which is minimal at best, I have to be closer than 30cm to feel its effect on me. This is in contrast to my £10 usb fan from Homebase purchased a couple of years back that creates a noticeable wind and cooling effect from more than 50cm away. I'm not sure if its design, they're a similar size, the Daffodil may in fact be bigger in the diameter, as the Homebase one has two rubber blades without a cage, whereas the Daffodil is five blades with a grill. It's a decent fan, but my search for a compliment to my Homebase one (not seen it sold since) continues.

Fantastic and powerful fan, consumes about 3.8 Watts. I like the Fan sound for sleeping, it’s not silent, I don’t want a silent fan. Instead of using a standard house fan consuming 50 Watts will be a huge saving over time.

What arrived was actually a very cheap knock off unbranded version. It honestly felt like a pneuomania ridden child was breathing to cool me down. YOU GOT NO FANS. HOWEVER. After notifying them. It was fake and not as depictured they issued a partial refund. So at least there's good customer service!

Lo he usado en verano para tenerlo en la mesita y combatir el calor y ha sido muy útil. Si la compra se realiza para tenerlo junto al ordenador, si que es verdad que quizás le falte un poco de velocidad a las aspas, ya que le costaría un poco hacer una diferencia real con respecto a la temperatura que desprende un ordenador. Pero como ya he dicho, ese no ha sido mi caso, de modo que cumple a la perfección la tarea para la cual lo adquirí.

Good quality and variable speed control sets it apart from most fans in this bracket. Not entirely quiet but not bad at moderate speeds.

I have too many NAS drives and a UPS on a shelf under my desk. The stagnant air would sometimes cause over-temp alerts from one or more drives. This fan cured the situation once and for all. Even though it has only one mounting keyhole, a single screw easily mounted it upside down and the rubber feet prevent it from working loose. The fan is surprisingly quiet even on high. It has been running 24/7 for 2 months without a single issue.

Ottimo prodotto. Regolabile la velocità di rotazione delle pale. Non possibilità di spostamento laterale ma solo sull'asse verticale (manuale). Ottimo per una postazione pc. Potenza aria eroga ottima, rumorosità accettabile.

Produit conforme à la description. Très pratique et silencieux. J'avais l'ancien modèle Daffodil et mon fils me l'empruntait tout le temps car il le trouvait silencieux par rapport à celui qu'il avait . Donc je lui ai acheté le nouveau modèle qui remplace l'ancien et il est ravi .Il y a des fonctions supplémentaires comme réglage de la vitesse , accroche murale possible et moins encombrant que l'ancien. Et toujours silencieux et rafraîchissant .Il est satisfait et enfin je peux garder le mien en permanence ! Vendeur joignable facilement si problème . Je recommande .
