Rimmel London Brow This Way Fibre Pencil, Softly Defines and Thickens Eyebrows, Light, 1.1 g

The item arrived in plenty of time and was packaged fine....love this eyebrow pencil...I have had a few in the past, the brown is a lighter colour which suits my paler skin tone. The pencil thickens the eyebrow in one area and is also fine enough to shape the end of the brow at the other end. Will continue to purchase.....happy

Always used Rimmel, three years ago I bought this "Fibre" pencil by mistake, it's the best mistake I've ever done. This is not as the original colour pencil, it is a fibre pencil with very little color, the purpose is to help thicken the brow with hair fibres giving it a fuller look ... and it does a pretty good job. Go on ladies, learn by my great mistake.

I bought this product a couple of time pre-lockdown in March 2020 from a drugstore, and started a new one just as it began. I was looking for a pale barely there brown/blonde to fill in the sparse area at the front of my brow because, while they’re naturally very dark, I just wanted a soft amount of colour to thicken them slightly without them looking blocky. This brow pencil was perfect, it gives just enough colour that with a darker brow gel I get the effect that I want, and because I was using it in such a small area, the pencil was lasting a long time. However after finishing it and project panning a few other pencils during lockdown, I finally repurchased in December... it’s half way through February and I’m almost finished the pencil, which seeing the previous pencils had lasted me four or five months, was irritating. I still maintain that this is a good product, but this new pencil when sharpened breaks in chunks because there is - I assume - areas where the fibres are denser and more compact, so half the tip would fall off vertically through the length, rendering the remaining half thin and fragile and it would instantly snap. The fibres are the only reason I could see for chunks to break off like this. This morning I sharpened a centimetre off the pencil because of the issue, which is not the first time, and it’s deeply irritating. This won’t stop me buying the product again, since I’ve used two of these pencils previously without this issue I feel like I just got a bad one, and I like the colour enough that until I can find a look-a-like I’ll stick with it. But if Rimmel could produce this without the fibre I’d be much happier, and I still recommend it if you’re looking for a really soft brown/blonde, but maybe buy two just in case.

Love this eyebrow pencil. I'm very fair and this is the lightest I have found so far. I also don't have a huge amount of eyebrow hair where my eyesbrows should arch and tail off - with this pencil I can create a well shaped and defined eyebrow that doesn't look drawn on. I get amazing results and have been complimented on them several times by women who were surprised when they found out I drew them on. I mostly use the pencil straight onto skin (allowing my moisturiser to dry a while before applying pencil), it works well on powder foundation. If applying to liquid or mouse foundation you will either need to let it set for while (or use setting powder) before using the pencil - it is useless on moist/creamy surfaces. I keep the pencil end sharp so sharpen 1-3 times while using and build up with small strokes. I find the fibres in the pencil help build onto the fine hairs around my eyebrows allowing them to look part of the eyebrow (and actually giving me an eyebrow). For me this pencil is amazing, it won't suit everyone dependent on their normal make up routine. One pencil lasts me 3-4 weeks but it is cheap (i used to buy a £19 branded one that only lasted 5-6 weeks so still quids up). I have been using this pencil over 12months now and I dread the day they discontinue this pencil.

I like the pencil - it is a good shade and applies easily. The issue is the pencil itself isn't very durable and doesn't last very long - and it doesn't sharpen very well adding to the problem.

Very pleased with item

I’ve really struggled with this pencil. The colour is perfect, but it doesn’t go on easily at all. I find myself constantly sharpening it, and even then, the colour doesn’t come out well—I have to press really hard. I’ve used this brand before (not from Amazon) and never had an issue, but unfortunately, this one has been disappointing. I even lost a few eyebrow hairs as a result of pressing so hard! Sadly, I wouldn’t repurchase this particular one.

I have blonde hair and over the years my eyebrows have almost become invisible. This eyebrow pencil if perfect for me. You have to press quite hard but it's long lasting and looks pretty natural. I use it ever day and have to sharpen it about once a week

It’s hard to find a simple brow pencil that is easy to use and smooth. I’m finding it hard to get a pencil for my brow like this one. It’s the best!

Works well and looks natural ,try leaving it in a warm place .it works better when is warm

No lo volvería a comprar, el tono es perfecto muy natural y mate ( sino ni con dos estrellas lo dejaba) pero apenas pinta, es muy duro y se borra al mínimo roce, además las fibras esas que son como pelusilla dentro de la mina del lápiz queda efecto pegote en los trazos.
