This is a great option for a monitor bar/desk lamp. I believe if anything this is much BETTER than a monitor bar for a few reasions. Placement : A monitor bar can only be placed on the monitor. this can lead to a couple of issues on a regular monitor bar. If you have a large monitor/low seating, then your the top of the monitor will be above your line of sight. in this placement its possible that the monitor bar light can be directly shine in your eyes which makes is very distracting. You can tilt the light further into the monitor to avoid this direct shine but then you start cutting off the amount of light coming onto the desk. This desk lamp is great because it opens up a lot of possibilities for placement. You can place the light in the center of the desk, arching over, and then have it tilted back, which leads ot even lighting of the desk and also no light shining in to your eyes or shining onto the monitor. 2. Controls: the controls are placed in front therefore its very easy to press on them and while you dont need to press hard at all (its touch control which works every time, you can place fingers behind the bar for a firm press without shaking the bar. Also the buttons have a very tiny blue light to find the buttons in the dark, but not bright enough to be distracting when the light is off. The controls are also thought out correctly in terms of priority (i think) the buttons make it quick to turn of an off, or change color. Press and hold makes the light go dim or bright. (something I don't do too often). I also like it the press and hold only goes dim or goes bright in one direction. (meaning once its goes bright, it goes bright to the max and then stops, it does not cycle between bright and dark) and takes a second press and hold to go in the opposite direction. That way you KNOW you are at the brightest or dimmest setting instead of trying to catch that min/max by holding the button for just the exact amount. The goose neck is sturdy enough that it stays in place, and the wiring is done such that its hidden. I would def recommend this product. The frame is is also kind of "soft touch"/rubber coated, and not just some bare metal which would instantly scratch.

I bought this desk lamp for my workspace in our upstairs loft. When the overhead lights are on, they shine right into the kids’ rooms, so I needed a light that focused on my desk without lighting up the whole hallway. This lamp fits the bill perfectly. It was easy to assemble, takes up almost no space (maybe two square inches on the edge of my desk), and the adjustable arm easily clears my 27" monitor. The different brightness levels give me just the right amount of light whether I’m working or reading. At this price, the quality and flexibility are excellent. So far, I love it and wish I’d bought it sooner. The first light I received was defective. The blue lights were always lit indicating the light had power, but it would not turn on and off consistently. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it would not, no matter how many times I pushed the power button. I contacted the manufacturer because it comes with a warranty and it took them a week to respond back to me. They requested I send them photos. Photos of what? That the light sometimes comes on and sometimes does not. I decided to return the light with Amazon and get a replacement. The next light works great and is the perfect amount of light for my whole desk. My desk is 60" long and 30" wide and the light shining down covers the entire surface. The cord is long and the base is sturdy. The flexible arm is ideal for moving the light exactly where you want it to be. There are three light colors. The light will dim on cool white, and warm white; however, when the lights are combined for the third color, that will not dim. Overall, great light.

Pretty great product for my home office. It perfectly illuminates my desk without being too bright or harsh and I love the different white options. My only issue is that after a year of use, the lamp has started to come on by itself. I turn it off and then a few minutes later it’s back on. So this may not last much longer, but it for the price this is a good item.

It’s sleek, modern, and most importantly it’s out of the way. I wanted to find a good desk lamp that wasn’t going to take up work space on my desk, I used to have a what I can only explain as a Pixar lamp next to my pc, blocking my pc, I’d have to move it around my monitor to use it because of where it was. Great value, definitely worth the price, it was easy to install, nothing too fancy just the right amount of functionality and no wires on my desk! A lot of the monitor lights I saw were too complicated, the touch controls were all I needed in a lamp, plus unlike monitor lamps it’s easy to adjust it at different heights and angles. 100% recommend this desk lamp.

Looks good, brighter than I expected and should be good for desk works! Photo shown a 34 inches ultra wide screen for reference. Since many have question for dimming, video focus on the dimming ability. Firstly there seem to be 2 sets of light with different color to achieve different color temperature. For dimming, simply touch the power bottom will activate the function. But as seem in video this is not a fast process. Takes about a few seconds before it’s obvious it’s dimming. The lowest brightness level is still kinda bright so probably cannot be as dim as a “night light”. The slow dimming and needing to wait to adjust to a certain brightness is a bit hassle but overall still a good quality lamp for the price. It’s quite long and not heavy so the clamp is more than enough to stabilize it.

Works great, one feature it has that others don't is the brightness is fully adjustable, not just 2 modes like most. This was confusing at first because pressing the button quickly does nothing. You have to hold it down once for it to dim and let go when you like. Next time you press and hold, it gets brighter until you let go.

Achetée pour ma femme qui cherchait un meilleur éclairage pour son bureau. Elle ne réalisait pas à quel point ça lui manquait avant de l’avoir! La lampe éclaire vraiment très bien et de façon homogène. Ça a complètement changé son confort de travail : beaucoup moins de fatigue oculaire à l’ordinateur, même en plein jour. Le col de cygne est pratique pour ajuster précisément l’angle, et le contrôle tactile avec intensité variable permet d’adapter la luminosité pour un éclairage plus chaud ou plus blanc. Petit bonus inattendu : elle trouve qu’elle paraît mieux en visioconférence, les couleurs sont plus vives et son teint est plus naturel. Très bon produit. Je recommande sans hésiter.
