How do I replace the battery? I can't get the unit open

This is moderately difficult. ON the side of the unit, there is a dimple. You need to force a small straight blade screwdriver or the clip into it and then pry the side of it open.Once this is poipen, slifde the small screwdriver around the edge, prying it all the time until you get it open.

Where would the "learn clip" be located at, on the liftmaster umit at the top of my garage roof? I'm not sure. This is all new to me.

The learn ‘button’ is located on the back of the garage door opener. You have to remove the plastic cover.

Didn't work on mine......I did better by just going to Lowes and getting a generic one....

Does this come with a battery or not? it says no, but also says it's not required, then it also says it's required.

It does not come with a battery, the battery you need is a CR2032 battery. Buy a known brand battery not a dollar store brand.
