Decent Chain for a good price
Chain came quickly and when used it cut pretty fast. (husqvarna 550 mk2) You get an aggressive chain and it will cut well in clean wood. It dulls up when you cut the dirty stuff and it will be difficult to sharpen if you are not great at it like me. I was cutting some dirty sandy wood so,....it takes a beating. You need to be mindful that it will need to be touched up and it's best for someone who is good at touching up a chain when it needs it. I primarily am going to use this chain for a back-up chain. The Husqvarna sp33g X force chain is as little more forgiving and seems to be of a harder temper and better steel. All in all,... it's not bad chain. It cuts aggressively and will make short work falling and bucking on the top 70% of the tree. It's good chain at an affordable price.

Much needed upgrade for a 450 Rancher with a 20β bar
If youβre still using a semi-chisel safety chain, this will make the difference youβre looking for. Just be cautious, a full chisel is a non-safety chain and has a higher potential to kickback or otherwise cause injury. Wear saw chaps, ANSI A4 or above gloves, and face protection. Be safe , do it right! As with any new chain you should make sure the rakers are in spec, and touch up the cutters with a file before using it, but this chain cuts nice, smooth, and so far oils better than the oem sp33g chain, which dulls fast and overheats quickly as a result of poor oiling. As for the long term durability I will have to update later after a few sharpenings and abuse, but so far a very nice upgrade for the money, I would buy a couple of these over a single stihl chain as of my current impressions on it.

Great chain
First off, if you are an inexperienced Sawyer, stay away from this chain! I been using chainsaws for many years and know what chain to buy, I really like this. I only use full chisel chain, or skip tooth, both can hurt you if don't know how to handle and respect a saw. I heat with wood, and usually follow logging crew's, most of the time, the wood is dirty. This chain stand's up longer than any other. Unless you use carbide chain, dirty wood dulls it quick. Carbide chain lasts a lot longer, but, it also cost's 5x more. Finally, good chain, very happy

Good fast chain not great for modifying as a ripping chain
I bought this chain to modify into a ripping chain and it works ok. The biggest problem is with it staying sharp. It cuts about as fast as it gets when sharp but being a full chisel chain it really dulls very quick when used for ripping. Will I think next time get a semi.chisel to modify for.ripping.

Totally awesome chain, transformed my MS290 into a decent saw
Steps for cutting wood with a new Stihl chainsaw:1. Remove the lame chain that came on the saw when you bought it.2. Throw it in the scrap bin3. Put this Oregon chain on and watch the chips fly4. If this chain is too much for you, put the Stihl chain back on and ask your wife to cut your wood for you

Top notch
Oregon is the industry standard, and I have used these for many years. But do check the price locally, as they sometimes beat Amazon.

Great Chain
If you are not comfortable with a chainsaw this chain will bite through wood so be careful. Ran it hard all day and only a few file strokes at the end of the day.

Best replacement chain I've bought
Used to always get the Stihl chain, but thought I'd give this one a go. Seems stronger and cuts like the dickens. Very pleased.
