I bought this hand rail to replace an old painted one. Very happy with the way it looks. It wasn’t too hard to install. Like that it did not come with pre drilled holes so that we could hit the wall studs. Exactly as described. Came quickly too

Beautiful in design, fully functional and fairly easy to install with correct tools. It is wood not a composite and accentuates the room. Bought two and then ordered more. Very happy with purchase.

I bought four of these handrails for safety due to health issues my wife has now. Because our plans kept changing I purchased them one at a time. They are a solid strong wood. The finish is nice looking and consistent. I make that point because, four handrails, purchased one at a time and the stain finish is exactly the same. I am completely happy with the way they are made and finished. The only reason they didn't get five stars is because of the bracket. The wall side of the bracket is a round base, 2.25 inches in diameter with holes for three screws. Because of the size and spacing of the screws it is doubtful of hitting a standard 1.75 inch stud with all three screws. Therefore I purchased separately different brackets with a better design to make it easier.

I purchased a 4 foot version of this and loved it so much that I ordered the longer version for a second set of stairs. I highly recommend this product. It is well-made and nice to look at.

Perfect handrails for my staircase. Painted them gloss black. Work on the wall or from post to post.

I purchased the 2’ rail. The wooden rail was nice but the screws were junk. One broke off & another screw got bent when I drilled it in. The screw anchors were much too large & the package directions listed a drill bit as part of the supplies which wasn’t included. If anyone orders this rail be sure you have extra screws. The package did include 2 extra screw in both sizes but I needed more. I used my own screws as replacements & colored the heads with a black Sharpie.

This has been a game changer in our house. Bad knees make going up and down stairs very difficult but this handrail makes a difference. We have a bannister on one side and this was easily installed onto the opposite wall. I can’t do without it now. And it’s even sturdier than our bannister. Very well made.
