Upgrade Baudelun 1/4"-20 Beam Clamps, Black Steel Bolt-on Beam Clamp for 1/4" and 3/8" Threaded Rod, S-hooks and Bridle Rings, 25 Packs

Used these to help string up some lights in my storage unit! They gripped the steel beam very well and the holes provided the perfect spot to add a small S hook. My once dark storage unit is now super bright! A bit of a MacGyver (1985 tv show) usage but these are super strong, gripped tightly onto the steel beams and did the trick!

Quality material, well made

Build quality: Calling these clamps garbage would being doing garbage a disservice. Horribly made Chinese metal failing at the simplest of clamping tasks. The clamps would bend, pop, or crush - even the f'n tightening screws would bend. Avoid these clamps - save yourself a huge headache, and spend a pit more money on something stronger/better,

These were good. Fit right. Didn't bend when. Tightening and the side bolts hel boxes and conduit good.

These clamps are light metal and for small diameter pipe or conduit. They also work on flat surfaces up to 0.75” (3/4”) can be clamped to beams with additional hardware to route electrical wires or other light-duty tasks. I would not use them in high stress area as they will bend with moderate force. They are coarse-threaded (#10-20) for both 0.25” (1/4") and 0.375” (3/8") so threaded rod, eye hooks, and bolts will fit into the clamp. Note I would recommend a lock nut against the clamp as the threads are minimal and will loosen with any movement. My application was to test these was as safety clamps to stabilize a tall stack of air filters on a dust collection system. They worked well installed against the stack and they also allowed a steel cable to be connect between two of the clamps for extra safety. I would like to rate them 5-stars as they are very useful however, they lose a star for construction and strength. Still a good purchase for what they are designed to do.

Good quality and easy to install

WEAK ! Do not hold much load. Good for attaching cables but nothing else.

When tightening the clamp, it flexed and bent outward at sides. Metal is thin and has flaps that fold over to maintain rigidity. Will not buy again….
