Outstanding value for money
I purchased the Yamaha FSX820C based on YouTube reviews from various sites. I wanted a slightly smaller and easier to play concert-sized guitar compared to my 45-year old Guild D40 dreadnought. I have been amazed at the value for money for this guitar. The sound quality is excellent and ease of play is fantastic right out of the box. The guitar is resonant, presumably due to the solid spruce top and scalloped bracing. I purchased the model with electronics, and when connected to my little Yamaha THR5A amp practice amp it sounds fantastic. In my opinion, you cannot go wrong purchasing this guitar. It truly is a great purchase for both beginners and seasoned guitarists alike.

I love it.
Worth every penny! Sounds deep and rich tone. Reminiscent of Slash's acoustic work in the Guns & Roses song "Patience". I did change the strings to a thinner gauge to make it easier to "bend" the notes.

cuz it was a nice sounding guitar
It developed a buzz in the body after a couple of months. Very disappointing, cuz it was a nice sounding guitar. Amazon was gracious in allowing me to return it to them rather than forcing me to take the tedious path of a warranty claim against Yamaha. I ended up replacing it with the Yamaha AC1R, which is a step or two above it in quality and several steps in workmanship and finish. I recommend that one.

Looks great, but I have to return it
Exactly what I was looking for. But, the one I got had multiple issues. Sharp fret ends, nut was cut wrong and fretted out in several places and an odd rattle on the B string that I couldn't find a source for. Don't need that hassle so I'm returning it. Shame.
