137-0001 Manifold Plastic Air Compressor Regulator Valve Knob Compatible with Sanborn Craftsman Coleman

Perfect fit for my 35+ year old Sanborn compressor. My knob had been broken for years and the "knob" had been a small pair of vice grip pliers all that time. I didn't think parts were even available since it was so old. I was so happy to treat it to a knew knob. My faithful old compressor deserved it!

I bought all the parts to replace the missing regulator on a Sanborn compressor.Assembled and tested... This cap blew right off and blew the internal parts into the void.Either the cap is slightly over-sized and doesn't engage the threads securely, or the threads on the manifold are too shallow to engage. Waste of money to have tried.I will probably find or make a solid cap 1 1/4 inch 16tpi and run it at full tank pressure or add an external regulator.

Liked it. Works as it shows

I mean, technically it fit, but only threaded onto one or two threads then popped off when compressor built pressure. The plastic threads were too soft to hold and once it popped off it was stripped and wouldn’t even hold 10 psi. Oh well, was worth a try. Time for a whole new regulator.

Standard pressure regulator knob. All you get is the knob.

Doesn't fit tight when the air pressure went up to 50 psi it blew up as soon as I find ots going back,. it's worthless and a safetyhazard...

Works great

Although it does fit the manifold, it does not contain the replacement parts which are sold seperately. Would be nice to know that up front.
