Can i make in bread maker and can i use other yeast? i have been using traditional french flour t55 but can't get it at the moment.

Can I use my bread maker? And if yes what programme?

I use this for for any programme that calls for strong white flour. It makes an excellent white loaf.

I bought this yeast and I’m having trouble activating it, I have left it for an hour and still only the odd bubble.can you help please

Like all yeasts it is sensitive to temperature, other ingredients such as salt and sugar, and type of dough. This is a slow acting yeast so I encourage you to be patient and wait another hour, even two. If you still have no luck you may need to adjust your recipe. We have not had any negative feedback from the yeast, and we do also sell it wholesale to professional bakeries who are very pleased with the product.
