The weight seems accurate to what is in the description.The hand holds are comfortable, but not so much that I wouldn't use lifting gloves - but I have pretty under-developed hands.These are pretty low weight - so there good for drop sets or running or engaging weaker muscles - but it's going to be hard to meaningfully strain your muscles with such a low weight. If that's where you're at in your fitness journey than get these. I'm personally at a point where I want to get a pair of every 5lb interval dumbell so I picked these up and I'm not disappointed.Good for shoulders, delts, and drop sets.

I am rehabbing a shoulder injury and have to start with lower weights, these 5-lb dumbells are perfect. I love the rubber on the weights so they won't scratch my floors if I accidentally drop one. These are ergonomically correct as far as grip is concerned. These are gym-worthy weights and not your typical department-store quality. Great investment!

I'm thoroughly impressed with this set of 5lb. dumbbell weights. Right out of the package, aesthetically, they look very trendy & because of their design, they give such BEAST-MODE vibes that it helps give me a sense of motivation while working out with them. Physically, they are quality-made! They look & feel durable. The weight distribution is centered perfectly, they feel well-balanced, and ergonomically, they feel comfortable in my palms & even with my extra small fingers, I have no issues wrapping my fingers around the solid metal handle. The weights' ends are slightly textured, and the hexagonal shape helps to keep the weights from rolling or moving across the gym floor when you set them down during exercise reps. I highly recommend these weights! This brand of weights seem to be a great option. So whether you're looking to start your own collection of free weights at home, school or even at the office for those lunch-break exercise days, definitely check these weights out.

These dumbbells are made very well. The steel used for the handle is very nice and grippy and the rubber on the weights is excellent. I like these rubber encased weights in my gym since I don't have to worry about them scratching my hardwood floors. I also prefer the look of these dumbbells to the traditional all iron weights. They have a commercial gym feel and will last a lifetime.

Got these 5lb weight set for a home gym in setting up and started out with the 5lb set first to try them out. I’m having surgery in a week and a half and so I’ll be needing to slowly get back into using my arms again once healed up. This is a very nice set, like the ones you’d find in a regular gym. Nice quality, good gripping bar and perfect for my small arms (I’m 5’4” and 102lbs) I haven’t been able to workout for the last several months leading up to surgery so these will be perfect to start back with once I’m healed up and the surgeon gives me the go ahead again.

These are more expensive than other dumbbells out there that I have seen for home use but the quality of these really shines and they are worth the premium. I have used many different dumbbells over the years and these are built just like your premium, highest quality brands you see in commercial gyms. Weighing these on a scale showed they were the exact weight expected.Sunny Health dumbbells are the real deal. They are worth the premium over the cheap brands but still much cheaper than the comparable commercial dumbbells out there. I love these and will add more of this brand to my home gym over time.

These DB’s are great. They are replacing my 5lbs DB’s that are cast iron and are really 5.5lbsThe DB’s have a nice grip on the handles if you get sweaty hands.When putting them down on the gym floor they don’t roll away from you because of the design and texture of the DBI have really expensive DB’s because of the brand and I absolutely see it feel no difference. They are of good quality.They also fit nice in my DB standThey do weigh 5lbs and look just as good as expensive one’s were you are paying for the name brand. I would recommend if you are looking for a good pair of DB’s
