This is an adorable addition to our outdoor haven for all species of birds. This jar is the perfect size for the nectar. The red “flowers “ and shiny aluminum cover are both attractive and add function, stability and sturdiness to this feeder. No squirrels are allowed access to the sweet food with the covered screwed on top. The shine of the cover glimmers in the morning sunlight and attracts the birds. We look forward to watching the hummingbirds as they feed in our yard!

Maybe it's just me not understanding the design when I purchased, but I've been frustrated with this. You have to keep it full because the feeding ports are at the top - not at the bottom of the container like other feeders I've used.

These aren't bad hummingbird feeders, that is until you hang up those solid red glass ones. I bought a couple of these globes last spring, and I just thought we didn't have many hummingbirds here at our new place. I hung up some dark red glass ones a couple weeks ago though, alongside these, and I've got little hummingbirds flitting all around them. So happy with those dark red ones that I bought another set of them to accommodate all the hummingbirds that have shown up! If I had it to do again I wouldn't buy these. :/ They're so pretty though, that I'll find somewhere to hang them where they'll get some use.

Too bad it leaks if you fill it up, and the birds can’t reach the liquid when it does not leak. Bad design.

I purchased this model because my old feeder started leaking. This one definitely will not leak! Easy to clean and I can easily see the liquid level 20 feet away from inside the house. Easy to fill with it's large screw off top. I liked it so much that I bought three more. Oh, and the hummingbirds like it too.

Thought this would be a great feeder but I was wrong. First, the feeder portals did not extend down into the feeder. If the birds did feed as soon as the level was down to about half full the portals would not touch the food. Second, there was no perch for the birds to land on. They would have to hover all the time while they fed. The birds do hover to eat but the perch is used frequently in my experience. Thirdly, the feeder leaked sugar water making a mess on the floor. Finally, the birds did not feed from it preferring another traditionally design hanging next to the mason jar feeder. To their credit the supplier credited my account promptly when I returned the feeder.

This is a really cute hummingbird feeder! Hummingbirds came to it immediately after I put it out. I've even brought it in to clean and refill and walked back out to see a bird hovering where it hangs looking for it... lol. It's really easy to clean and is made from pretty thick glass so I'm not afraid of the squirrels breaking it. I would definitely recommend it!
