Some important things to note.
Yes, the product does work as intended. Not is not meant as an end all be all. This is for people who have a light to moderate infestation. If you have anything above light or moderate, this product will not be as effective until you hire someone to fumigate your space and THEN apply these as a preventative measure so they don't come back. When using this product, do not be alarmed if at first you see MORE pests coming about. It means the product is functioning properly, as the ultrasonic waves are infiltrating their brains and causing them to panic, and therefore to flee from your space. Hang in there if you're at this stage, it does get better. This means it's pulling not only the critters you COULD see, but the ones you COULDN'T see. They say, for example, for every place you find ONE rat, there are probably 3 more hidden somewhere. So, be patient and let the product work its magic. In the meantime you could also set traps, in places that won't interfere with the plug-in. This way when they come out, they will head to those traps, seeking refuge in their attempts to flee. After about 2 weeks, things should improve. No, they will not be gone completely by this time, but there should be a noticeable difference. By the 6th week, sightings should be miniscule. Maybe you see an occasional critter here and there, once every few days or so. This is fine. The product is working as intended. For the settings, you should be using this on at LEAST the middle setting if you have a moderate to light infestation. If you have a VERY light infestation, or the issue is solved for now, then the lightest setting should do. You should actually NOT use the highest setting during times you or your pets are in the home. Because it is audible and it is noticeable, and for some, it is bothersome. Right on the box, they even recommend that the highest setting only be used when you and/or family are away from the home (so for example, maybe you put it on the highest setting when you and/or your kids/pets are away at work or school or on a walk), and use Low or up to Medium setting when occupying your space. Unless it's being used in a place like your garage or a warehouse, then you could leave it on the highest setting. Also, if in general, the highest setting's sound does not bother you, then of course you could leave it on High. Apparently it does take some getting used to or adjusting for kids or pets, though so it may bother them at first, but they'll tune it out eventually. Could also just turn on the TV or listen to music to drown it out. Also, make sure that wherever you plug this in, that it is unobstructed by other objects, especially things like table cloths or curtains etc. It should be parallel to the floor, meaning not touching the floor. The reviewer who stated that they placed one outside their front door to get rid of mosquitoes lurking there, doesn't seem to understand that they gave up right as the product was doing what it was supposed to. If you are seeing MORE mosquitoes AT FIRST, that is a good sign. That means it's working. They are stuck to the wall because they are disoriented and trying to figure out how to get away. I think the main takeaway from this is, patience, patience, patience. Give it time. It's not an instant or immediate solution. It is gradual, and needs at LEAST a few weeks to really do its job. You're not going to 100% stop seeing pest altogether if you had them. But you will see a gradual decrease and perhaps a lesser occurence of them. If it seems 100% ineffective, try troubleshooting the issue. Or, it may mean the issue is a lot more major and requires consulting with a professional. Then, and only then, might it serve well as a deterrent or preventative solution instead. Perhaps you won't need to hire someone as often, that sort of thing.

Completely useless product that failed to repel a mouse that was 3 feet away,
It is that time of year when the cold arrives and all of the little critters try to find a warm place to live and eat for the season. Every winter I set out our live traps in my indefinite battle with the rodent forces and their attempt to take over. I was sincerely hoping to limit the amount caught this year by trying to deter them from even considering entry. Thus my decision to purchase the "2023 Upgraded Version Ultrasonic Pest Repeller". At a glance, this looked like a good deal. We don't have a huge place and I figured I could make some resemblance of a force field around my house with 6 of these ultrasonic miracles weapons. I ordered and they arrived quickly, in good condition and were incredibly easy to install. About a week after I installed these devices, imagine my surprise when I look at a live trap, which is placed 56 inches from one of these devices, (measured solely for the purpose of this review) and there is a mouse caught. Giving these devices the benefit of the doubt, I proceeded to pick up the trap and hold it near the device to see how the mouse would respond. The mouse chose to stay in the corner near the device (opposite of the remaining food in the trap) and didn't move once. I tried all 3 settings and no change in the mouse's behavior. The photo attached is of the mouse in the trap next to the device on its "high" setting. There are existing ultrasonic products in the market that actually work, albeit, they are expensive. I know plenty of people with a vehicle in storage who swear by them. But in this case, the "2023 Upgraded Version Ultrasonic Pest Repeller" was not a cheaper option. it was just cheap.

works
Ok, so, i'm always skeptical if something works or not and so far i can say these definitely work!!! i hate when the season changes and have tried all sorts of products to stop ants, stinkbugs, spiders etc wandering round my home and settling in without paying rent the cheeky buggers!! I will admit though it is fun watching my security ninja kitties zoom all over the place on the hunt!!! So, to the product, all were in perfect condition, each was individually wrapped inside the main box. they are very simple to use and look well made. You take one out of the box, unwrap it, plug them strategically around your home to get the best coverage, turn them on and set them to whatever level you need. There are 3 levels - a blue, orange and red. The blue is the lowest setting and was undetectable to my hearing, the orange - next level - I occasionally heard a little sort of tinny, whine sound and the red - well yeah put it on when no one is home, it's a high sharp sound that was irritating but i imagine very effective. i have used 5 of mine around my ground level and they seem to be working a treat!!! You can tell which level you have it on as there is a light on the front, which isn't obtrusive and hardly noticeable. I have mine all on orange and the dog and 2 cats and don't seem affected at all. They seem to be a safe product, no odors emit from them, they're so versatile and easy to use so i would say they are good value for money.

Works, has three settings, (L, M, & H) but must be manually reset after each power cycle.
Works great except instructions were not clear that there were three settings. Negative is that every time our power cycles i have to go and turn them back on. may not seem like a big deal except that the range requires that i have several of these units both under the house in a crawl space and in the attic which means each time the power goes out i have to spent a few hours crawling around under the house and the attic insulation. Please Please Please make a unit that is on whenever power is supplied to the unit.

Easy to use!!!
Absolutely love these ultrasonic repellers so far! I bought the 6-pack so I could cover my whole home, and within a few weeks I noticed a big drop in the random roaches and tiny ants that used to show up in my kitchen and bathroom. The setup and first impressions is very simple to use. I just plug each unit into a wall outlet and the light comes on so you know it’s working. The design is slim enough that it doesn’t block the second outlet. No strange smell, no mess, and no need to keep buying refills or batteries since it runs directly off the outlet. THE performance against pests in the first week I still saw a few bugs, but after about 3–4 weeks they pretty much disappeared, which matches the timeline the product description suggests for larger pests like mice. I’ve seen far fewer ants and roaches in the kitchen, and I haven’t heard any scratching in the walls since I plugged these in. I like that it targets multiple pests (roach, rodent, mouse, mosquito, spider, ant) with changing frequencies instead of just one type. Three mode switching, treble mode is powerful and seems best when I’m out of the house; it can be a bit audible to humans, but it’s great for getting at pests in walls and harder-to-reach spots. Bass mode produces a slight sound I can barely notice, and it’s aimed at things like ants and mice; I turn this on during the day when I’m not in that room much. Ultrasonic mute mode is my favorite at night: I can’t hear anything, it doesn’t bother my sleep, and it still works on most pests, so I leave this on in the bedroom 24/7. Safety and convenience. There are no chemicals, poisons, or traps to worry about, which feels much safer around visiting kids.

The jury is still out. I see some effect but I still have mice
I'm leaving it at three stars because the jury is still out as to weather or not these things work. My big complaint is that these don't work as advertised. The instructions manual lists a bunch of other pests, like roaches and fruit flies in the list of pests it repels, but even their te h support will tell you it does nothing for some of these pest. We need some honesty in what is printed on the documentation. As far as effectiveness...I think it's reducing my mouse problem as I see less evidence that mice are still running around. I also have traps in some of the runways the mice follow and I have noticed that there is no more mouse poop. But I have seen mice run across the floor, so it's not getting rid of them completely (neither are the traps, so there is that...). I have put it at both the quiet setting and the full blast setting, alternating it every couple of weeks so the mice dont become accustomed to it...as per instructions given to me by tech support. I still have mice. I will probably just get a cat lol.

This is an absolute Godsend
Many years, I used bug sprays and I had to keep opening my door to get the fresh air in and the spray not get in me. I started getting a mouse here and there. I started to think "Sorry, Spidey", even though I had tremendous fear of the spiders and called them super spiders because of how long it took for them to die. I never wanted to kill the mice because of my love of Tom And Jerry. I saw what I discovered in Image Search Results were seasonal crickets. There were tonss of other creatures I was not familiar with too, unwelcome in my house. I saw a mouse in my kitchen last year. It kept playing Peekaboo literally with me every time I tried to look at it. I looked up how I could safely remove the mouse without hurting it. I saw search listings for electronic pest repellers. I was very excited aand intrigued. I got curious and I did a lot of research about this idea I had just found out about. I wanted to remove the spiders, worms, crickets, mice, salamanders, flies and other creatures without harming them or me. I read reviews by other people about this. I loved the majority of the reviews that spoke positively. I ordered one pack. It arrived a few days later. I was able to open the box easily. I understood people's reviews and I read everyone's answers to my questions. I plugged one in to the wall of the main area I reside in the most and that also got the most traffic from these other creatures. I put it on yellow. The blue is too mild. Thee red is way too strong for my ears. The yellow is still silent to me but it is strong enough to keep the other creatures away. There are no more uses of bug spray and no more rampant invasions from other creatures. Random spiders come and they fast run away. No more spiders, worms, etc. I can hear the mice in the walls once in a huge while as they come then run away. This literally started working on day one, but I remembered many mentioning about the days, weeks and months it took to work for them. So, I gave it months to work and in both areas. Months after this area was successful, I put one in my kitchen. Both areas have been very successful in removing the other creatures without anymore bug spray. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to remove insects and other creatures but without poison or spray. :)

No More Ants!!!
I have had an ant problem for years in my kitchen and bath area. Over and over again they leave and they come back. They are the tiny tiny ones that you can hardly see. I think maybe they call them ghost ants. Have had these repellers plugged in for about 7 or 8 months now and I have not seen ants. I almost have to believe these things are working because I have used every other deterrent on the market previouusly and nothing has ever worked. Still remains to be seen if these continue to work but for now it's going great! Thank you

Not suitable for India
It has American plug points and not suitable for India. The gadget switches off after sometime, I think it is meant for 110 volt American system. It is surprising that it is sold in India.
